Set in peaceful nature, we are located just 3 minutes walk from the lake where you can swim, paddleboard and kayak. There are beautiful hikes right from the doorstep. The historic town of Marvão is 15 minutes by car and the Roman ruins of Ammaia are just 5 minutes away.

Casa das Pedras is the starting point for paths that explore the history and charms of Northern Alentejo. Located in the Serra de São Mamede National Park, it is just a few minutes from Marvão and Castelo de Vide. Casa das Pedras is over 200 years old and was restored by us. It is a Quinta where you can relax under 100 olive trees, cork oaks and fruit trees. The modern studio accommodates a couple and a child with the comfort of country life. Let yourself be absorbed by this environment.

Mamede sierra natural Park , next to small village of Escusa, in a lovely valley between the must-see villages of Castelo de Vide and Marvão. Modern lodge in a week-end farm. Resting, walking, reading, sun, shade, having a bath. Breathing fresh air and sleeping better. Also great for remote work. Possible laundry service.

Bird's House

Fully equipped rustic house, located in an extremely quiet place in the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park. Here you can enjoy Nature in its fullest form, catching up on your reading or simply relaxing by listening only to the sounds of Nature. There is no telephone network in the house, which makes the stay more special, but it does have Wi-Fi. Ideal for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and city stress.
