The accommodation is simple and clean, with all amenities. It is associated with a nice restaurant downstairs and wide parking space. The hostess was lovely and helpful!

Uma casa excelente, num sítio ermo mas cheio de encantos! Uma ribeira perto de casa onde os cães se podem molhar, uma barragem na herdade, pão maravilhoso, pessoas prestáveis e simpáticas que facilitaram tudo…. Um sítio a voltar!! Viajamos com dois cães de grande porte que foram aceites sem vacilar, fomos mimados e passamos uns dias memoráveis. Sobre a casa… linda! Rústica, bem enquadrada, confortável, limpa, bem equipada. Uma verdadeira pérola a descobrir. Obrigada Patricia e restantes colegas…. Bem hajam!

Luis was a fantastic host - responsive and always of service. The lodgings were fantastic - clean, comfortable, had everything that was needed and more, and in a part of the village I found SO interesting (the medieval part). It was close to the village centre and all that was needed for a pleasant stay. I HIGHLY recommend Luis and his lodgings, and the village of Castelo de Vide for what could be described as nothing less than a STELLAR travel experience! Jaye

Stayed 1 night with two friends as a first stop of our road trip to Spain. It was the perfect location to enjoy the great restaurants and ambience of Estremoz. Located close to the central square for easy parking and opposite the beautiful fountains and park.

Nuestra estancia en la casa rural de Duarte ha sido maravillosa. Hemos sido dos parejas con tres perros y hemos disfrutado mucho todos. La casa es completamente rural, ubicada en las afueras de Campo Maior, en una zona muy tranquila donde no oirás ni un solo coche. Duarte muy atento en todo momento. Muchas gracias, volveremos!!

My husband and I with our 2 children stayed in Francisco’s farmhouse for 8 days in March. It was a unique experience that we greatly enjoyed and would highly recommend. The house sits atop a beautiful hill, and we hiked the access road through fields. We made good use of the fireplaces, which made the rooms very comfortable. The supply of wood, matches and firestarter was appreciated. The main building has 3 bedrooms, each with ensuite. The annex has a separate entrance, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen/dining area were well stocked with lots of space. The pool was too cold for swimming but the children splashed their feet. The house runs on solar power so we avoided using the dishwasher/washing machine at night. We never had power issues even with some cloudy days. We have stayed at many AirBNBs and this one was uniquely charming and beautifully situated. Rustic style but luxury amenities. Fransisco was a pleasure to deal with, friendly and helpful throughout.

Maria is echt super. Heeft heel persoonlijke aandacht voor haar gasten. We kregen diverse lokale specialiteiten. En we hebben echt goede gesprekken gevoerd. We voelden ons echt thuis, moesten "helaas" weer weg wegens ons werk. Anders waren we nog wel langer gebleven. We komen weer eens terug.

Casa muito prática e muito bem decorada. Com tudo o que é preciso , máquinas de lavar roupa, máquina lavar loiça , etc . Tudo a funcionar bem. Local calmo mas perto de tudo. Sentimos-nos em casa.

We chose this house as it was close to Festival de Arronches, with just 15 minutes distance by car, and around 30 from Portalegre, and we're very happy we did! D.Filomena was a great start of the stay, she was super nice and responsive, even arriving a little late. The house is beautifully Portuguese, the divisions are spacious, the kitchen has all the appliances we could need and the views are green and peaceful. The area overall is pleasing, with green hills all around and olive trees. Just note that the supermarket is further away and there aren't too many options for restaurants.
