Farmstay holiday rentals in Port Macquarie-Hastings Council

Our family (2 adults and 3 kids 5,5 and 7 yrs old) really enjoyed our short stay. Peaceful, room to explore or sit and relax. All the amenities to cook meals for the family in the cottage plus little touches like a coffee pod machine (much appreciated by the parents after long drive). An added bonus was the farm tour by Gary and honey from the farm bees. Highly recommend to break up the drive from Brisbane to Sydney and to show the kids a working farm.

Our stay at the Avalon River Retreat was beautiful. My partner and I arrived at Sophies' place in Toms Creek hoping for a relaxing, rural getaway, and we were rewarded with the perfect escape. The property is beautiful, and with more time we could have spent days walking through the differing australian bush landscapes and kayaking down the river. As it was, we spent our time meeting all of Sophies friendly animals, spotting platypus in the river and a stunning day trip to Ellenborough Falls (highly recomend) . The cottage itself was clean, warm and perfectly appointed, with possibly the most comfortable couch ive lounged on. We could have easily spent the whole stay on the couch with a book and the sound of the river and wild brumbies in the clearing below. Sophie was incredibly helpful and easy to deal with. From taking us on a tour of her property on the first day, she was always avaliable for anything we needed, while leaving us to do as we pleased. I cannot recommend high enough

A lovely cottage and incredibly beautiful surrounding property. We especially loved walking down to the dam and watching the platypus play in the water. What a treat! We saw wild deer in the early mornings too and many birds. We felt miles away from the hustle and bustle and really relaxed into the country lifestyle. Sandra’s instructions were extremely helpful. Thanks so much for having us!

From the beautiful interior design, the luxurious bed linen , comfortable leather couches and well appointed kitchen this homestead was a haven for our family. We had plenty of opportunities to head off on family adventures but the call of the pool, the relaxing reading room, the donkey and spa were to much of a temptation for us. Night time saw us melting marshmallows around the fire pit, going for nature walks with our torches and playing games around one of the three large accommodating tables. The few days spent in this beautiful homestead were magical ones for our family. Thank you Kirstin for making our stay so amazing. We are planning for a return visit.

We loved our stay at Eden Brae Farm! Anne and her family made check in seamless! They were always quick to respond to questions and even altered their schedule to suite us so that my kids didn’t miss out on animal feeds! The house itself was well organised and very clean. Everything listed was provided and in good working condition! BONUS - the reception and wifi were great too! We would recommend Eden Brae to anyone who is looking for a peaceful and serene stay!

Thank you so much Anne & Scott for your hospitality. The stay felt very close to nature, like home and best part is my little one really enjoyed seeing the animals and interact with them. Her favourites were the horses (the big boys). The place was very welcoming, nice, clean and in prestine condition. The cabin is fully equitted with all, one can think of. We really had great time and would highly recommend Anne & Scott as hosts. Would love to visit again in future for sure. Thank you

We had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and polite and made check-in and check-out a breeze. The neighbourhood was quiet, safe and clean. One of the highlights was picking fresh oranges, lemons and passion fruits from the tree-such a unique and refreshing experience. We truly enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, fresh air and relaxing vibes. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a slice of natural paradise!

Had a great stay with my 2 boys went fishing arvo and night place was clean great place for kids. I’ll definitely be staying here for trips up and down Sydney to GC or even a holiday with the family. Highly recommended.

Great stay, a beautiful, peaceful location. We had two mini Dachshunds who loved the green space, it was nice to see them running around, enjoying themselves and the new smells. The farm animals are really friendly too, it really is a beautiful peaceful spot to relax at. We stayed for the Ironman event in Port, it was a great base for us, about 30 minutes from the event. Would recommend this to people doing the Port Ironman if they want affordable accom that's not too far away. Just a note, there are Roosters who like to wake up early, for me it's all part of the farm experience, but it may not be everyone's cup of tea. I got used to them after the first night and was up at 4 am on race day anyway.

Gail was a wonderful host. We had one of our best Airbnb experiences. The property is quiet and beautiful in the countryside, which is exactly what we looked for. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, and Gail also supplies breakfast ingredients.

Loved our stay at the artist studio. Beautiful charming place perfect for our little family and dog. Loved the kangaroos and tree house style accomo. Amazing location and Peter & Turiee were so helpful. Beds were 10/10 comfortable!! 🤩

We absolutely had the best time here. The property is beyond amazing. The best sunset ever! So much to do, from fishing, crabbing, riding bike around and enjoying the fire at night. Neil is super friendly! Even gave us mud crab that he freshly caught! Communication is amazing! Gayle is super fast at responding. We will be coming back here for sure. Thank you so much

We had a great one night stay en route to south east Queensland. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had all we needed to make our simple meals. As we arrived after dark and left early in the morning, we didn't have time to make the most of what the home had to offer, but we loved the tropical garden view, and the fabulous view of the ocean as we were leaving.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was absolutely beautiful and perfect for kids to enjoy. The hot tub was a real highlight, especially on a cold evening, it was such a treat. Highly recommend and would love to come back!
