The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable, situated in a quaint town with beautiful scenery and laid-back vibes. The hosts are truly awesome! They even provided bread, eggs, and milk for breakfast, which was a thoughtful touch to an already amazing experience.

Great spot for a stopover, we stayed one night travelling from QLD to NSW. Easy to find, pet friendly, and close to beach, ocean walking track, restaurants and cafes. Very comfy bed, would stay again.

Our family had a fantastic long weekend at Artisans on the hill. Beautiful spot overlooking green countryside views for an ideal break from busy life. Big communal area with sizeable bedrooms and ensuites for everyone was a plus. Easy to get around the manning valley and to Taree for essentials. Peter & Christine were very accommodating and we enjoyed seeing the workshop and gallery.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hightide. We were welcomed by Suzanne and Nils, kept in touch during our stay, and wished us a safe trip on our departure. This apartment would have to be the most spotless we have ever stayed at. It is spacious, in a fabulous spot with an outlook from the back verandah over a beautiful bush garden with endless species of birds visiting. A lovely spot to have breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hightide being just minutes from the beach, walks and fishing spots. We would highly recommend Suzannes place.

Great place to stay overnight after a long drive. Conveniently located just off the highway. Darren’s recommendation to go see the North Haven breakwall was the perfect end to the day.

The accommodation was perfect for what I needed as I was a solo traveller. It was lovely to arrive after a trip in pouring rain and wind, and to come inside where it was warm and comfortable was very much appreciated. Dawn gave great instructions and kept in contact to make sure everything was ok. I would stay again if I am down in that area.

We had a lovely stay! The studio was very clean, tidy and presented really nicely. It is a peaceful back street of Forster with a view of the distant ocean. We admittedly didn’t read the description in detail about the bathroom with no door but it really wasn’t an issue. We loved our visits from the friendly ragdoll cat Dudley who enjoyed lots of pats. Would recommend to anyone needing a quiet weekend stay in Forster that’s close to everything.

We’re a family of 4 and had a fantastic stay at Bree’s place. Beautiful, clean accommodation, great location just a very short walk to multiple beaches and coffee. Very quiet, and also private. Would highly recommend!

Scott's place was perfect for us. Across the street from the beach and café. Off street parking, good privacy and peeks of the ocean. The accommodation is roomy, comfortable and modern beach decor. Some guests have commented on the small bathroom, however we found it fine for a beach stay. Others mentioned it being out of town, but we actually love it, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Plus it's a short 10 min drive to the hub of downtown Pt Macquarie. If you enjoy the beach, surfing, flying kites or scenic drives and walks , Scott's place is a great spot. Thanks so much for a lovely visit, we'll be back.

Had a great stay at Jennifer’s place! Jennifer is a very friendly welcoming host I would love to stay again if in the area. Such a comfortable bed I had the best sleep! The surrounding mountains are beautiful had a very nice coffee while watching the sunrise over the mountains there.

from the moment we arrived Thana was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. She could not do enough for us, she was so friendly. I was so surprised to see how well stocked the kitchen was and what was provided for us. The place is very clean, with lovely canal views that came with an amazing cool breeze. there is a bistro/pub just within walking distance but my favourite was being aoto order from Thai Tastic, we indulged on this a bit. I would definitely recommend this stay for others.

It was a gem to have found Gail's place; the apartment was clean and cozy, and I loved the outdoor space. She was friendly, thoughtful, and had good local recommendations. The lighthouse is within walking distance from the apartment, and there is also a coastal walk. It was nice to meet you and for the helpful tips to visit the lookout. See you guys again the next time!

We had an amazing stay in this little retreat with my husband and newborn. Location is amazing, walkable distance to the beach and close drive to Forster if needed. The space has all you need and very comfortable. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back. Thank you Julie!

Leonie was at the premises when we arrived. Very welcoming and showed us around to the apartment. The welcome cookie's, Lindt chocolates and extra things in the fridge were greatly appreciated. Woken in the morning by the local wildlife birds singing in the palm trees and rainforest like gardens. Extremely relaxing and quiet location. Great for reading books or watching netflix on the TV. Comfortable bed, and extremely tidy property with all you will need to cook whatever you want. Short 8 min drive to town centre and walks along the river walkways and around the headlands. Leonie was extremely accommodating for us with our previous trip needing to be cancelled because of the cyclone Alfred. Highly recommend Loenie and Jim's house. We will be definitely be staying again when we return to Port Macquarie over the next few months.

Great stop over in a little aussie town. Heritage home, cozy and the electric blanket was a delight as i came from a warm gold coast winter into a south colder winter, so i was fully delighted to know it was warm. And i love the bright bathroom with big bath and sky window. The kitchen has some ready items i see can be handy for traveler’s who are meal unplanned 😆 The bookshelf is packed! I love that too. Bed soooo comfortable…. I worked on my laptop and could stay there all day! Thank u for my stop over was lovely.

Fi’s place was great. Close to a rocky shore - bit hard to get to the sandy part of the beach from her place though. Fi is an excellent host and even brought in my washing and ran it through the drier when she saw it was about to rain! The place has all you need but some spaces are shared with other guests, the host and a delightful dog!
