Waterfront holiday rentals in Port Douglas

Absolutely wonderful week stay at Denis and Annes property. Everything was exactly as described. Clean, very comfortable and the facilities were excellent. Plenty of kitchen equipment, full washing facilities and the bathrooms were large. The beds were so comfortable! I highly recommend and we will definitely be back. On Palm Cove itself, the fishing was superb and a good variety of species to chase. The swim net was a area we used daily. Plenty of restaurants all within walking distance. I am so impressed with everything we have come across this week. Thank you to Denis and Anne for such a wonderful accommodation and allowing us to stay!

We had a really relaxing holiday here after traveling with our kids through Indonesia. Great to experience the Great Barrier Reef und the rainforest.

Beautiful location and easy checkin. This place is also even bigger than you would expect. Beautiful view and easy access to beach. Of note there are 4 flights of start from parking to unit, not a problem for me but may be for some

Kay was very helpful - she picked us up from the airport and took time to show us around the apartment. The apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent, handy for everything you need. There is a tour desk downstairs where you can book your activities. Overall, highly recommended.

Our beach view apartment was clean and comfortable. We felt right at home. Bradley was responsive with answers for things to do and where to get the items we wanted for our stay. We found Ellis Beach where there is a very good local restaurant across the street. We went into Cairns for the Rusty Food Market, open Friday- Sunday and also found Preston Fresh Seafood where we purchased amazing seafood for almost every meal. Trinity Beach is only 20 minutes or so from the airport and less than an hour from Port Douglas for our snorkeling adventures. Daintree is just a bit further away. Trinity is quieter than some of the other places to stay. We spent a very relaxing 9 days there and if we ever venture back to the Great Barrier Reef, we'd be back. Definitely a perfect spot for us and recommend it highly!

We had a wonderful family holiday at Dianne’s place. The apartment was perfect for our family with two young toddlers, beautiful setting, clean, comfortable and all the extras for kids, toys, pool toys and a great outdoor spa bath. We had a lot of fun at the resort beach pool and the location in Palm Cove is perfect, by the beach and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back.

This location and unit would be hard to beat! From the moment we walked through the front door we were captivated by the view… it included a bit of everything- from the marina, the horizon, greenery and the ferris wheel.. not forgetting the fireworks display on Friday night which was a lovely surprise..

Loved this beautiful Palm Cove house. Modern and spotless. Perfect spot and plenty of room for our family of 9. The young hones loved the scooters, and the pool was perfect for all. We would love to return one day.

Michaels place was exactly as described. The house is absolutely beautiful and unique. The pool was a perfect way to cool off after the days adventuring and the location is perfect. I would definitely recommend staying at this property. But be sure to pack a heavy duty midge repellent as I was eaten alive.

The option of being able to accommodate an extended family was of prime importance. The layout enabled us to have our own private spaces plus a lovely communal area around the main pool which is where the grandkids spent most of their time. Easy access to the beach was also a plus. Anyone with a large family group should consider this property.

Absolutely loved our 10 days at ‘Frangipani House’. We’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s & this one beats them all. Think absolute beachfront, amazing ocean views, private, coconut palms, gorgeous decor, heated pool, tropical garden, proximity to both world heritage listed Daintree rainforest & fabulous restaurants in Port Douglas.

Staying at Butterfly bend was just amazing. Waking up in the middle of the rainforest is an amazing experience and so different to our usual city life. The creek at the bottom of the house was a great spot for the kids to explore a different part of the Daintree. Em was very helpful with local tips and experiences. We loved our stay.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Nadia’s place. Great location, quiet, well presented home and I especially loved the pool. 5 stars for everything. I would love to stay there again😊

What a wonderful airbnb!!! Perfect for our family, great set up, fully fenced for the dogs and my nephew. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, right across the beach. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a far North Queensland getaway without the Port Douglas hustle, bustle and price tag. Great location 5 minutes to Mossman and only 15 minutes to the centre of Port. Loved the pool and the house set up. Thank you Krystal 😊

We just finished up an amazing 1.5 weeks at Renee's beautiful place. We're a family of 4 (2 teenagers, 2 adults) and this house was perfect! We had enough room to spread out but also great common areas to share meals, conversation and games. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking - dishes, many different appliances, pots/pans as well as basic staples like olive oil. The outdoor spaces were lovely; the landscaping is beautiful and the large deck became our favorite place to hang out and watch the river, butterflies and birds. The layout was great for us - two of the bedrooms are connected to the main house via the deck so it gave everyone their own space. We had a chance to go swimming in the river which our kids loved. We arrived to Cairns very early & Renee was gracious enough to allow us to check in early which we appreciated after 28hrs of travel! We would definitely stay here again - we were sorry to leave!

This place was great! The location is very good at the harbour. The apartment is duper clean and well equipped with everything you need. Check-in was super easy and the host would always reply within 30 minutes. Highly recommend this place! 😊

Best location, easy to walk to everywhere. Nice and spacious apt. But location really is the best especially if you are traveling with kids. Only minor downside is the ants on kitchen counter, otherwise all good.

Thank you for a beautiful stay. The staff were very responsive & waiting for us upon arrival. Balcony overlooks the pool, spa + has ocean glimpses through the trees. It was very relaxing sitting up there, watching the sunset & sunrise. The rooms are maintained well for the age with extra touches like rolled towels, hand cream, soap etc. The kitchen has a pods machine, small dishwasher, double hotplates, microwave. Note no oven. The washing machine, dryer, and towel rack were very handy to ensure dry swimming items. The bedrooms are seperated by glass, offering limited privacy. However, both the rooms have balcony views. Overall, we had a wonderful time. We especially enjoyed swimming in the large lagoon style swimming pool, surrounded by picturesque tropical grounds.

The location of the apartment and the views are great. The place is just as described & very comfortable. Thomas' responses & communication were always very prompt & helpful. I would highly recommend his place to anyone coming to Cairns.

A sprawling home with great views. Kitchen was fabulous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were top notch. The patio area had comfortable seating. Even though the place is a part of a small group of apartments, it felt totally private. Covered car park was a bonus. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. One reaches the place through two flights of narrow stairs. It may be difficult to carry large luggage or if you have mobility issues. Otherwise this is a dream vacation home

Marc’s place is located few blocks from town and across the road from the Cairns esplanade. If you have children, there’s a world class skateboard park, beach volleyball and Muddies water playground is a short walk. The accommodation is very homely with an equipped kitchen, balconies front and back with a comfortable lounge room. I was very surprised at the affordability of the accommodations so close to peak season and wouldn’t hesitate to book Marc’s accomodation again.

We traveled to Cairns for a family vacation! Christine’s place was top notch in terms of location and surroundings with very happening cafes & restaurants just around the corner. Moreover, we spent 2 days just enjoying the property with great ocean views and coffee ! Pool & tennis lawn added more entertainment! This relaxed city & the property has given our family a core travel memory! Highly recommend this property a great family vacation living experience !
