Our house is located a stone's throw from the historic center, in a residential area characterized by 1920s buildings, with free parking in the garage for bicycles and motorcycles. Within walking distance are the historic center, the cycle path along the Taro River and some easy trails. We are located on Via degli Abati and Via dei Remi, a journey from Valtaro to the Sea

The house is located in the heart of the WWF nature reserve "Ghirardi", a 370-hectare nature reserve located in the Province of Parma, Emilia-Romagna. Ghirardi is an extraordinary natural paradise, boasting many types of free wildlife and amazing walking/hiking opportunities, both on and off marked trails. Deer, boars, hares can be observed in their natural habitat, especially during mating season (September and October). Bird-watchers will spot myriad different bird species.

Located in the Vona Valley at an altitude of about 1000 meters, in San Pietro (Pajare locality), which is part of the municipality of Borgo Val di Taro, in the province of Parma, in the Emilia-Romagna region. Val Vona is typical for its unspoiled nature, rich in natural beauty: Lago Buono with its typical flora, beech clearings, centuries-old chestnut groves, carved cliffs, hazel trees, and junipers.

In an oasis of peace and tranquility, surrounded by unspoiled nature, we rent a small rustic mountain villa that is part of an ancient fief of the castle of Belforte (in Borgo Val di Taro), completely renovated while maintaining an ancient state of preservation. It enjoys a beautiful panoramic view of the Taro valley up to the Ligurian mountains. It is surrounded by chestnut woods and centuries-old oaks, just a 10-minute drive from Borgo Val di Taro, the main village.
