The Annexe is set in a rural area beside a beautiful Forest. We are 1 mile outside Pomeroy and only 8 mile from Cookstown / Dungannon. It's in the heart of Tyrone making it ideal to travel to all Northern Irelands tourist spots. All attractions are only 1 hour/20 away. We are 55 mins away from Belfast international Airport and George Best Airport. Pomeroy village has a few grocerie shops, pubs, a Pharmacy, Chinese, chippy and a Pizza take away. A car is essential!!
“This is a little gem of a place. The photos don't do it justice. We arrived half hour early & met Genie who was lighting the fire to warm the place before our stay. Everything you need is in the property. Our girls loved "camping" on the sofa bed in living room, seeing donkeys in neighbouring field & exploring local forest & play park. Great base for families & for exploring. We really loved how cosy the place is with all mod cons & that roaring fire. Well worth a stay.”
My home is a cosy rural dwelling full of character, just a mile from the busy market town of Cookstown, yet set amongst the foothills of the Sperrin mountains for a taste of country life.
“Wow I booked my stay at Sharon and Arnie's at very short notice and received a very quick response and excellent Directions to get me to them. I was completely blown away by the house which is a wonderful home filled with history, artefacts and a very warm welcome. This house is full of wonderful character, do not expect a sterile magnolia coloured plasterboarded box! The room I stayed in was very clean and comfortable, with lovely tasteful furniture. I had a great undisturbed sleep. The shared bathroom included was large, cosy and had a fantastic shower with seemingly plenty of hot water. It was also light and functional with a good mirror (which I appreciate). I only had a short overnight stay (on business), and my only regret was not being able to stay longer (on this ocassion:-) I certainly intend to return with my better half and to explore the area some more. Sharon and Arnie are lovely, friendly hosts who made me feel most welcome and I look forward to seeing them again :-)”

We are beside the Cookstown 100 road race.Local attractions are killymoon golf course,Lough fea, wellbrook beetling mill,Davagh Forrest mountain bike trials. “Our stay was brilliant, like other reviewers Nan welcomed me at the Annex with a roaring log fire. Nan and Huw are the perfect hosts. On arrival Nan had provided some essentials including bread, tea, milk, coffee and cereals etc. Enough to get us started before we headed off into Cookstown 5 mins away in the car. The accommodation is located in a very quiet rural area and is perfect to relax and unwind with stunning views. There is a convenience store and restaurant about a mile away so you don't need to venture into town if you don't want to. The pictures don't do the accommodation justice, it is lovely with one double bed and two singles beds which were really really comfy. We had a really nice stay and will be staying again at some stage in the future.”
