Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Polk County

Really enjoyed our stay in the heart of Des Moines. Lovely neighborhood with lots to do and it was all very walkable. Location was terrific for our group, which included my parents, who are in their 80s. We all enjoyed Mac’s home, which had plenty of amenities and was super comfortable. Mac was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and was a very responsive communicator. We will be back!!

Great location. Close to Drake Univ neighborhood and a stone's throw from the highway and minutes to about anywhere you want to be in Des Moines! Cozy, comfortable, spacious and amenities were stocked! Would stay again!

My partner, our dog, and I stayed at Greg's for a night while in town for a concert. We appreciated the clear instructions for check-in, recommendations for restaurants, clean space, and beautiful yard. Greg answered our questions quickly and communicated well. If we find ourselves back in Des Moines, we will definitely stay again. Also, we took his recommendation for Classic Frozen Custard - yum!

This place was a dream! We were so comfortable here and it was walkable to grocery, restaurants, and a walking trail!

I cannot say enough kind things about Carrie and her cottage! It was clean, easy to use, and cozy, and Carrie herself was quick to respond when I had questions and super welcoming! Easily the best AirBnB I've stayed in to date! If you're staying in Altoona, this is the place to stay!

We had a beautiful Easter weekend at Menika’s place! She was super nice & helpful our entire stay & even checked in on us to make sure everything was going smoothly. The neighborhood itself is so nice & quiet. The home was clean, modern & very spacious. We had 6 people plus a child in our stay & there was plentyyyy of space for us all to hang out comfortably. We were even able to BBQ using the grill on the deck. I would 100% recommend staying here. I bet in the summer, this stay is an even better!

We stayed here for a cheer competition at the fairgrounds. It worked out perfectly to not fight the parking lots and were able to walk across the street! It was a great location and close by to things we are interested in. House was well kept, nice and clean! The neighbors were very friendly as well. Thanks for the great stay!

This is a beautiful updated historic home within walking distance of Drake University. We found a local coffee shop very close. This home has lots of amenities. We recommend Dough Co pizza.

Everything was absolutely perfect!

Had a lovely stay at Jeff's place! The condo was lovely, nicely decorated and comfortable. We felt welcome right away with a nice card from Jeff and some snacks. We had everything we needed at the condo including a comfortable bed and pull out sofa and a full kitchen. Light sleepers may want to bring a noise machine or ear plugs as the downtown bar crowd can be a little noisy on the weekends. We would love to stay here again the next time we're in Des Moines!

NIce industrial/loft setting, clean and well appointed. It was easy walking distance to restaurants and bars downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at this location again.

Perfect location. Perfect home for a small group. Perfect home away from home. Would definitely book again if I returned to Des Moines. The home had everything you needed…extra linens, all kitchen appliances, and a washer & dryer. The host is also super responsive and willing to assist with any issues.

The location was perfect for individuals who work in health care, two hospitals are less than ten minutes away and one is within walking distance. As for safety, there's literally 3 locked doors to go through before you enter the apartment. When I was leaving, I wanted to take the bed with me, it was so comfortable it made getting up difficult.

The inside of the condo is lovely and has some comfortable extra touches. The value and comfort far exceeds any hotel in the area.

We absolutely loved it here & would definitely stay again. Perfect location & many restaurants & venues close by. Great to have a guaranteed parking space too
