Holiday rentals with lake access in Polače

The apartment is better than the pictures show. it is very roomy and comfortable, with a nice terrace and a gorgeuos view of the lake. Perfect for coffee at sunrise. The place exceeded our expectations and I could list many things, but the greatest was being hosted by Erika and Luke. They provided so many details to make is feel welcomed and attended to. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Sanja was a great hostess to us. So polite and nice. She made sure we were well looked after. The house was great. Had everything we needed plus a lot more. We would definitely go back again.

Absolutely perfect in every way a stunning place to stay so much space to chill inside and out everything you need is there which is a first for us . And the cleanest place we have stayed too . Unexpected gifts of wine and chocolates and meat and cheese too . We had kayaks so was brilliant to launch them from the one minute walk from the private lake access. Marijana so friendly and professional explained everything in five minutes to us without feeling rushed . This is a genuine honest review and can’t recommend it highly enough . We’re so glad we chose Boris’s apartment – it truly felt like a home away from home. The place is beautiful, cozy, and had everything we needed. A true paradise for a family getaway! We lacked nothing and our two sons loved the house with everything it offers. Superbly equipped and everything in the best condition. We booked the day before arrival and Ante made it possible for us - thank you!

Stunningly beautiful villa and views from the pool and terrace. Fantastic BBQ area and outdoor space. Andrija (owner) was amazing, he provided us with recommendations for restaurants and nights out, especially the wine tasting event which was our highlight. We would’ve missed this if it wasn’t for him! His wife greeted us on the first day and his Son was also very polite and welcoming. I can’t thank them enough for making our stay so easy. Definitely need a car here….Imotski centre is approx 10 minute drive away and a taxi for 5 cost €20 each way. Strange but beautiful little town, on some occasions being very busy and lovely, others being very quiet. Markaska was also a highlight for the harbour, restaurants and the lively but very busy beaches. This was 35 minutes by car. A visit to Split old town was an hour away. The was a small supermarket, fast food and a local bar (which we didn’t try) 10 minute walk away from the villa. Overall a beautiful villa with a fantastic family hosting

Stjepan (Stipe) was a wonderful host. He arranged airport transfers and was at the property to meet us. We checked in early, which was no problem with Stipe, and he gave us a lift to local supermarket twice during our stay, which saved lugging heavy bags on the bus. Stipe also arranged a great rafting trip, and recommended places to visit and where to eat, all of which were excellent. The property was clean, spacious and fully equipped. Would highly recommend.

Surprised my girlfriend with a birthday trip to Dubrovnik and booked this place, it was PERFECT. Beautiful place, beautiful area, lovely people, easy access to Ubers, not far from the Old Town. Lastly, the hosts are beautiful humans! Thank you for our stay!

We spent part of our honeymoon at Tania's apartment. As a welcome, there was delicious wine, ham and cake, which was very attentive. The apartment is right on Punta Rata, it was a very impressive time.

Outstanding location, very responsive and friendly host who has genuinely thought of everything a family on vacation away from home might need. Special thanks to the caretaker Ljubo, a genuinely lovely guy and a pleasure to deal with. All in all, a 10 out of 10 experience!

The welcome we received was excellent, our hosts waited for us very late in the evening because of the delay of our plane. The apartment is very clean and well-equipped, the bedding is comfortable and the view of the water is beautiful. Fruit and drinks were waiting for us in the fridge on arrival. We highly recommend this place.

Elvedina’s place is stunning. She was responsive throughout my entire stay, helpful, friendly, and had great recommendations for the area. Check in was smooth and flexible which was appreciated after a long drive. The kitchen was very well stocked - if you like to cook you will have zero issues. The beds … you will have the best sleeps of your life they are so comfortable. The unit is in a quiet area, neighbours were quiet and the only noise was from the road and the occasional gym bar bell. We didn’t visit the gym nor the pool but it looks fantastic, clean, and convenient! The area is very hot in summer, she has the entire unit covered for AC - you will be incredibly comfortable. The balcony provided beautiful views of Mostar, and the famous bridge is within walking distance. If you have mobility issues - you will not be able to walk to the old town, but it’s a 5 minute drive (zero inconvenience). We felt safe and welcome throughout the stay and we will definitely return! Stay here!

Another successful stay, we were here two years ago, and let it be the best recompense that we came back again. The place is located halfway from Zlatni rata to the center right next to the beautiful promenade. Everything as described, the place is clean, there is a dishwasher, and many household appliances. Beautiful terrace where we had breakfast. We had a wonderful stay, I highly recommend it.

I cannot recommend this BnB more. The host is absolutely wonderful and helpful throughout. The host met us late in the evening and was so polite giving us as much information as she could to make sure we had a perfect stay. The views are stunning, the location is perfect to get to old town or the harbour/restaurants a bus stop just outside the apartment. This is an absolutely 5 star experience and needs more recognition. I would recommend this for anybody visiting Dubrovnik and a special Thankyou to the host looking after our luggage and going above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay 🫶🏼

Highly recommended. Very nice apartment, clean, comfortable and air con worked perfectly. Secluded balcony, quiet place and within walking distance to everywhere in national park. Zrinka and her Mum made us at home by sharing nice chocolate cake.

The hosts were very welcoming and super helpful. The apartment not only had everything you could possibly need but was also impeccably clean with great attention to detail, the bed was the most comfy I've experienced. Jozo goes the extra mile with lots of recommendations and is always readily available to answer any questions. She really is very much committed to making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We had a beautiful time at Anita‘s appartement! It truly is a special place. The neighbours and their cats and dog made it even nicer :) The appartement has everything you need and every space is thoughtfully used. Anita gave us a warm welcome and the communication in general was really easy.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the villa. Just what we were searching for, a haven of tranquility. The hosts were delightful, Razu in particular was extremely helpful throughout the entire stay regarding information and supplied us with an array of fantastic meals. We didn't want for anything. There were plenty of things to see and do within a short car journey. I would wholeheartedly recommend Villa Amphora. As most of the other reviews state, it is a truly unique experience. Regarding the one negative review on the website; all I can say is I really don't understand what they found so disagreeable.

Toni’s place is nice and cozy, very clean and well equipped. We needed a fully equipped kitchen for cooking and we found everything we wanted to use. It made our staying way more easier. The terrace is wonderful with a beautiful view to the lake, we loved it so much! Toni was very helpful and communicative all the time during our staying and before, when I had some important questions. He waited us with cake, which was really heartwarming after a long drive. Mljet is a really special place, if you like nature and active vacation.

Best Vacation Ever!!!! We were enchanted from the moment we drove up to this Adriatic Treasure! I almost hesitate to describe it for fear that all days will be filled immediately and we won’t have a chance to return soon enough! The white pristine marble walkways and terrace provided access to the cold crystal clear water on three sides. The large outdoor area always provided a place of sun or shade throughout the day. Our grandchildren loved playing on the two paddle boards and exploring the outdoors. The AC inside offered an immediate respite when we stepped inside the cool white interior of the home. A treat of food and beverages awaited to our surprise. Totally unexpected! Marko was the perfect host, offering site recommendations including reservations at the scrumptious Sudvic Restaurant nearby. Seafood plucked right from the waters beside it! We are making plans now to try to return to this amazing magical paradise. You should book your vacation here now! You will not regret it!
