Cottage holiday rentals in Pointe-à-Pitre

Anita and Henri are lovely hosts! Welcoming, responsive, unobtrusive, and at the same time kind to their hosts. The cottage is as described and the hot tub is very nice when returning from the beach. I highly recommend this rental to book without second thought.

We had a great time at Vanessa and Sylas' place, who welcomed us with a smile! A delicious meal and a bottle of punch were waiting for us in the fridge as a welcome! The accommodation is just perfect, the pool very nice and the jaccuzi ideal for relaxing after crapahming all day. The accommodation is very functional and nothing was missing, quietly located and 5 minutes walk from Malendure beach. Vanessa was very responsive to all our questions, it was just perfect 😊

The place and the setting taked you back to tranquility and nature. The view of the forest and the ocean is one of a kind. Driving up to the location is quite the adventure. The roads are steep, beprepared. We also enjoyed a home cooked dinner delivered to our villa by the hosts. The coconut chicken and the creme Brule were delicious! As a side note, make sure to bring your own shower gel and shampoo.

Beautiful atypical accommodation in a wonderful garden in the heart of nature. The mill is very pleasant to stay and the welcome of our hosts is perfect. Renaud and Olivier do everything they can to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend it!

Very nice place. The pictures are not misleading. Tropical garden and pool in a super quiet area. Great location close (on foot) to beautiful beaches, and easy access to visit high ground and lowland. As far as mosquitoes are very tolerable thanks to the air conditioning and mosquito nets. All you need is a little extra pchitt. No water outages.. Almost private parking lots on the street. Our only small downside: the beds are missing 10 cm in length, for people who are a little tall.

We were hosted very well, very well advised on the places we should visit, including the sunrise at Pointe des Châteaux which was really worth getting up early! The cottage is clean, well arranged and well-equipped. The pool is a plus. I highly recommend the detour through the Cinnamon cottage.

We had a fabulous 2-week holiday in St Francois! Claire (the building manager) was super helpful, suggested a great day tour operator and even assisting us with a flat tire during our stay!! Top tip: make sure your rental car has a can of “fix a flat” spray in it - it is €8 that will save your whole trip on an island with plenty of bad roads to destroy your tires! The villa was as described. For being as open to the garden as it is there were surprisingly few bugs. The pool is gorgeous, we were in it all the time. The only thing I wish I had known in advance was that July in Guadeloupe is so hot and humid that ANY length of walk is too long of a walk. So “distance to the nearest beach” is basically irrelevant - you will want to drive anyway!

We traveled to 12 with family and received a very warm welcome from Didier and Claudio. Accommodation is as described, and very well-equipped. The children were able to make the most of the pool. We had a dream stay, in a quiet and peaceful place, close to many places to discover, the rental of a car is however essential . The little plus, we had a great evening at the table d 'hôte at Didier's! We unanimously recommend the listing, and would love to come back for a future trip.

We spent wonderful, unforgettable days at Didier and Co. Claude welcomed us very kindly on the first day and showed us our house. He and Corinne were always very accommodating, bringing us mangoes again and again and helping us feel at home. The other houses were inhabited by friendly families, with whom we not only shared the pool, but also got into conversation. The kids also found their friends and played with other kids. The house is beautifully and creatively furnished down to the last detail. The equipment is perfect. We would have stayed there for an eternity if possible.

Every morning we would get up and have our coffee on the terrace by the pool and gaze at the beautiful ocean, the cool breeze blowing through the flowering bushes and trees. This villa was paradise.Spacious, relaxing and perfectly situated for a zen-like beach holiday. It is a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. I highly recommend this excellent property.

Very good stay at Luc's. Well equipped, clean and convivial house. Luc was available if needed. I enjoyed the gestures of attention. Fruits and rum that I enjoyed well. it's worth a visit and I definitely go back.

Friendly house for a stay on the Grande Terre. We spent two and a half very pleasant weeks between visits to the island and rest by the pool. The hosting and communication with Sébastien and Marie was perfect. Good value for money for this house, I would recommend it.

We wanted to start our stay in Guadeloupe with a few days in Basse Terre to discover the wild nature. We were delighted with our choice at Stéphane's! The accommodation is surrounded by nature surrounded by plants and with a superb sea escape. As soon as you arrive, you really feel on vacation! Stéphane welcomed us perfectly with nice little touches as a bonus. In short, 2 great family nights with our parents and children aged 8 and 12! We recommend it!

I finally understand what the adjective "magnificent" means. Exceptional cottage! Amazing view! Véronique is a remarkable host, pleasant, accommodating, excellent advice! Phanie was very available before even booking to answer questions. Instructions are clear and precise. Phanie was vigilant to give us information about the tropical weather. The house is very spacious, there were 4 of us and were all pleasantly surprised upon arrival. We found the house to be more beautiful live than in the photo. We had a fabulous stay at L'Habitation Cafeiere in the Cottage. The Cottage is apart from the other buildings providing great privacy. The property's setting is magnificent...the photos do not do it justice with incredible views of the ocean and mountains. Furthermore, the location in Pointe Noire is excellent for exploring Basse Terre - right in the middle of the western coast and also relatively convenient to making trips to Grande Terre. Didier and Etienne are excellent hosts - they have helpful lists of local recommendations. Their homecooked meals are also excellent and provide a great chance to chat with the hosts and other guests.

We had a lovely stay at Gilbert and Danielle's. My son and I felt right at home. The bed was comfortable and the environment quiet with a beautiful garden. Danielle and Gilbert were very welcoming and were very friendly with my little one who didn't love them there!;) Thank you for this beautiful stay and for the responsiveness to our requests. Very well located for exploring Grande Terre! We had booked a paragliding flight and the flight location is 9 minutes from the accommodation so it was ideal 🪂 Stephen is a great cook and a thoughtful host! We highly recommend tasting its cuisine if you are staying there! The planter and the coconut punch prepared by him simply remain the best we could taste in Guadeloupe🍹 Two small points of attention before you book: 1. Make sure you love dogs as you will get to know Happy, Jester and Rex, the three adorable doggies in the residence! They can be a little lively at your arrival and departure as they defend the property but are lovers 🐶 2. The stairs to go up to the mezzanine are very steep, depending on your physical condition or age, take this information into consideration! Thanks for everything!
