Carmel By the Canyon

Our studio is located in Carmel, less than a mile from the town center. The house faces out over Hatton Canyon and affords a private rural setting yet close to Big Sur, Pebble Beach, Monterey, etc. 15 Minute walk to Carmel downtown. A hub to explore Big Sur and all the Monterey Peninsula has to offer. Due to certain regulatory changes regarding minimum stay, the dates you are requesting may not be available. While we prefer longer stays, do make an inquiry to us about the dates you want.

Serene fully-furnished 900 sq. ft. studio guesthouse 6 blocks up the hill from the beach, with 180 degree ocean-view, and 180 degree mountain and wilderness view from a private balcony. The guesthouse is artfully decorated, and is quiet. Our whole neighborhood is affluent and beautiful with plenty of beaches to explore. It is the perfect place to stay and visit remote Big Sur to the south, but also be close to the incredible restaurants & shops in Carmel. Our guests prefer a no pets policy.

You'll experience a quiet and private stay in the tree tops within a gated property. You can walk to beautiful Moss/Asilomar beach, restaurants and spa at Spanish Bay Resort, and MPCC country club just minutes away. You can sit in the sun on the patio, have an outdoor BBQ, and cook in open layout kitchen. Also enjoy a massage by appointment outside or inside, spa tub soak, and fire by bedside in the evening. Stay in our Carmel Rustic Cabin along with your dogs (see dog fee below) while shopping, visiting local wineries and restaurants or just walking your dog off-leash along Carmel's white sandy beach. Hidden in the woods, our rustic cabin is like a treehouse with all the amenities and minutes from downtown and the beaches. FYI the coast drive is now accessible between here and LA, but may be shut down during stormy weather, so be sure to follow local weather reports or just call Caltrans.

It has a king size bed and a small kitchenette with a microwave, wine refrigerator and coffee pot. It is located close to downtown Carmel by the Sea, Pebble Beach, Point Lobos and Big Sur. Enjoy nature and hiking at beautiful mission trail only 1/4 mile away. Point lobos 2 miles away.
