Accommodation for 3, up to 5 beds for those sleeping in their own sleeping bags. The kitchenette has a hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and dishes (glasses, mugs, plates, coffee presses, cutlery, etc.). There are showers in the adjacent beach sauna. Composting wood toilet. The sauna is wood-heated. If necessary, we will guide you in heating the sauna. Available in summer and early autumn.

Outdoor hot tub, filled with spring water! It is easy to relax in this unique and peaceful holiday resort. You can reach the yard by car, about 50 min from the airport by car. The cottage has a brand new interior and a renovated sauna (with its own entrance) with an eco toilet, in summer only the outdoor eco toilet is in use. In addition, the atmosphere in the cottage is created by a fireplace and magnificent views of the lake. There is also no light pollution here, so you can watch the northern lights even while lounging in bed.

Mini home in the countryside by the lake, sauna, wifi

A cosy, compact and ecological mini-home is located by the lake in a genuine and ordinary small village in Lapland. The mini-home has everything you need, including a wood-fired sauna. We will help you heat the sauna if you wish, and there is Wi-Fi. The large windows offer a beautiful view of the lake and the northern sky. This mobile mini-home is also well suited for a longer stay, so the accommodation itself is an experience. Hot tub for an additional fee. The hot tub is not available in winter.

Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Savu is furnished with style by Finnish design. You can chill along fireplace and check aurora borealis from your own pier. Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.

Northern lights paradise

Our luxury is peace and quiet under the starry sky and northern lights. You can get there by car, but you don't have to see anyone during your entire stay if you don't want to, but you're still only about 45 minutes from the city center. We are sure that you will fall in love with our peaceful cabin in the middle of snow and northern lights. The cottage is always warm when you arrive, and we will take care of you throughout your stay as if you were our friends.

NEW FOR 2026: A stunning fireplace has been installed in the living room of the villa. A modern, fully equipped villa next to the Kiilopää fell, less than a 10-minute walk to Urho Kekkonen National Park. Very quiet location. Equipment rental and a´la carte restaurant can be found within walking distance. Saariselkä's ski slopes and other services can be found within a 20-minute drive. The villa is suitable for a couple, family or group of friends.
