Monthly Rentals in Pocosol

Casa Cielo is a special place. I was looking for something more unique than the rinse and repeat new Airbnb builds closer to La Fortuna. The huge windows overlooking the private lake was serene. Curt is an incredible host who truly embraces the concept of "hosting". The food was spectacular - way above and beyond. Extremely generous high-effort home cooking from Vielca (sp?). We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner each day we were there and had no desire to go to restaurants. They even did laundry for us! I'd definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a unique place to stay.

Our host Kely met us at the accommodation and was very friendly and helpful. We had arrived from NZ after many hours of travel and she kindly offered to make us a light meal once we'd rested - much appreciated. Enjoyed the location and the hummingbirds in the garden. Highly recommend.

The place is very nice and private , the service was good , the house was perfect !!! The super quiet place, we had a great time!!!

This lovely, hand-built cabin is nestled among small fields of fruit and vegetables, flowering trees and lush forest. It was clean, quiet and private. Our peaceful mornings were filled with colorful song birds (lots of hummingbirds). This space is delightfully simple but perfect for exploring the area and getting a taste for Pura Vida! Edgar, the host was responsive, friendly and helpful with recommendations for local restaurants. A whole pineapple and bananas were on the counter upon our arrival and were delicious. Costa Rica is early to bed early to rise, as the birds, frogs and bugs are up singing their morning song. I am not an early riser normally but I was asleep early (sun sets at 6pm) and bounding out of bed for coffee in the hammock out back. Would highly recommend this stay if you prefer to avoid the hustle and bustle. It is about 30 minute drive to La Fortuna/Arenal parks.
