We loved our stay at Moonshine Creek. Katie is an awesome host. She gave us many helpful tips for sightseeing and things to do. The surroundings are beautiful and there is plenty to do. The day we left we did the Moonshine Waterfall hike, which was quite challenging but great fun. Thank you for having us!

5 Stars – A Slice of Paradise in Knysna! We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home in Knysna. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed — the hosts greeted us warmly and had thoughtfully left snacks, a bottle of wine, and even a delicious cake for us to enjoy. Such a special touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The house itself is stunning — spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful location made it the perfect place to unwind. We loved spending time on the patio, soaking in the scenery, and enjoying relaxed evenings by the fire. The location is ideal too — just a short drive from town, yet far enough to feel like a private retreat. This place truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return. Raymond was extremely helpful and proactive with how to find the place especially since Google Maps was not helpful. The place looked just like the pictures, and I cannot believe how valuable for money this was. There was 8 of us, and it was so so spacious. I even got my own en suite! The place was so clean, and everything was easy to access. The surroundings are breathtaking and it will be so worth it. Thank you so much!

What an amazing experience. We were so relaxed and enjoyed the tranquility that the farm had to offer. Just hearing the birds chirping was magical. Loved the outside bath, which I got to try out. Waldo was so welcoming, recommended the Plett wine & bubbly festival (which was amazing). Assisted us in getting the fire going in order to have braai on the Saturday evening. Definitely recommend the place.

The perfect spot to explore Nature's Valley from. We were able to walk with our toddler and dog to the off leash dog beach with ease! We visited in Winter and the fireplace was a very welcome addition, making it cosy. The house is well equipped and would be ideal for longer stays.

What an amazing gem in the centre of Plettenberg Bay. We loved our stay for four nights. Great location, lots of space in the house for privacy and entertaining. Modern kitchen and outdoor area. Well priced considering all the place has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

Had an amzing stay. Super peaceful and quiet. Awesome views over the hills. Fantastic swimming pool. Very nice and well looked after garden. Great bedding. My only "bad" comment is that there is another cottage next to the pool that is not specified in the listing. Luckily for us there was no one occupying that cottage during our stay. All in all it was a majestic stay and will definitely visit again

Lovely peaceful home in a residential neighbourhood. The property is very homely with all amenities you could need. We particularly loved the garden - it must take a lot of work to keep it looking so pretty!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The area was peaceful and the place was stunning and neat. The amenities were great to use. The host’s company was great and was super helpful and attentive throughout our stay.

This was a safe area where we could walk through the neighborhood. It is close to everything in Knysna. It was very clean and having a washer was really helpful. Wifi seemed slow. The property has a lot of steps, but that was fine for our family. It was nice to have multiple seating areas so we could sit together or spread out when we wanted to. Host offered information on local attractions and had coffee, milk, and sugar for when we arrived.

A beyond five star stay! The stay was the most comfortable I have ever had with my elderly mom who has special needs for her mobility. Owen and his support are incredible and helpful. We literally never needed for a single thing. It is comfortable, clean, well located, all the possible utilities you might need. If you are going to Knysna, you have found your dream accommodation right here!

Great place, very private, rustic but spacious. and suoer views. It's super cold In winter though, no electric blanket and you can use the whole gas bottle to warm up that spacious cottage. there is no insulation and floors in the bathroom are open to the elements. Stunning setting, would love to visit in summer. outdoor bath in the forest. The hosts are also generous with water, which is helpful since the water is borehole and not that pleasant to drink. I would say get more water you can taste it even when boiled.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a refreshing escape from daily life, even if you already live near the ocean — this is an entirely unique experience.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is very spacious and well-equipped with everything you need. The view of the Knysna heads from the bedroom and balcony is stunning!

Beautiful place to stay at the top of the hill. Room was comfortable and peaceful with lots of living space available.

Johan's secluded accommodation is the perfect place to completely switch off in a few days. The pictures cannot reflect how wonderful the views of the surrounding mountains and sunsets are. The drive is a bit bumpy due to the gravel road, but our little Hyundai made it without any problems. Be sure to try the campfire to grill on. We'll be back. :)

Henk deserves an award, he was communicating even before we got to his place. We would wake up to recommendations of places to go so we did not have to Google all that was done for us. Everything was perfect from the peaceful neighbourhood to the house itself we truly had a holiday 🌻
