Holiday houses in Pleasant Hill

Two of us in town for a memorial service and gathering of friends. The place was great-perfect size-two bedrooms worked for us perfectly-cute place. Minor point is a bathroom typical of these little homes, with a toilet literally right next to the tub/shower with only an inch or two to spare on the sides-made for some interesting "negotiating!" But as I said, this is minor. Shower great! Located in a great neighborhood, peaceful, safe to walk, close to a mall and restaurants etc. Be aware there is a basement tenant- took us by surprise but that was because we didn't read the description fully! They were super quiet and we barely knew anyone else was there. Their apartment is separate from the unit. Definitely recommend the place and Josh was quick to respond to any questions we had. Great front porch for sitting and watching the world, lots of windows, good linens and towels, extra blankets, easy on street parking., Keurig, so very quiet-we would rent again in a heartbeat....

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Tabitha’s property. Everything was clean and well appointed. Plenty of space and great basement for games. The sunrises and sunsets were inspiring and we got lucky enough to have a bald eagle perching in the tree by the house this morning! If you are looking for a clean place with plenty of room to spread out (including a country kitchen with large family size table) then this is the place for you. Only 10 miles into Pella - so you can be in the country for privacy and seclusion, but close to conveniences as well.

Molly was a great host and very helpful when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable for our family. Her home was very clean, the furniture was really comfortable, and the home was on an active farm surrounded by beautiful and peaceful farm land. The home is also only about 10 minutes to Adel which has a cute little downtown area with several resturants and only about a half hour to the West end of Des Moines which had a lot of shopping and activity. It was a perfect stay for us.

The Corn Crib is a very cozy place to stay after a long day. The kitchen is stocked with anything you could think of! Loved the decor of the Crib and the surroundings were quiet and beautiful 🍂 Will definitely stay again!

It was amazing and definitely worth! I will definitely be back and I have already told all of my friends about it! He was an amazing host and the house was very clean! Can’t wait to go back!

Colby’s Instructions were very helpful and clearly written it’s obvious he is very experienced. The house was beautiful plenty of space to sit, sleep, and eat and in a quiet spot. The amenities were great having a dumpster there was very helpful multiple fridges and plenty of parking. The barn was very cool my guests were not expecting anything like that, we all had a lot of fun and had no problems keeping the place clean and following the rules.

The Mulberry Cottage was wonderfully unlike any other stay! This little spot has all the charm of an old farmhouse without the responsibility of getting up early and staying out late to do the actual farming. Luckily, the cow calves were up and about and viewable from the cottage! To top it all off, breakfast consisted of the best sourdough bread, butter, mulberry jam, and farm fresh eggs; truly delicious! Mary Lynne is so kind and considerate; A+ host!

The house was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. We had a large group in town for a wedding with many of us traveling from out of state. It was so nice to have the space we all could hang out without feeling like sardines. The bedrooms and beds were all large and comfortable. There were plenty of towels and everything we needed was already there for us. There was a lot of fun extras in the house and the game room was a huge hit with the kids! We LOVED it! Thank you!!
