Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Havana

We had a wonderful stay. Our hosts Dunia & Nelly were super friendly and helpful. Dunia had our currency changed and arranged taxis when needed. The best part of this apartment is the balcony. The views are amazing and it was always nice and breezy. The furniture was also comfortable. We spent so much time there when we were home. Bottled water, beer and sodas were available for a small fee. You can also have breakfast prepared for a fee. All very convenient I highly recommend this place!

My family and I had the most wonderful stay in Villa Vera. We all believed it had to be the greatest Airbnb in the city. We were given a Cuban phone which was extremely useful. Yenier's staff always responded to us right away and they gave us so many great recommendations. We did a full day beach excursion and were taken to the most gorgeous spot. The phone was also very helpful to arrange for taxis to take us where we needed to go, often at the last minute. We also made the very smart choice to have a dinner cooked by the private chef on our first night. What an absolute treat it was, the food was incredible, probably the best meal we had in Havana. Having dinner in the house is a must. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. Having wifi in the house was excellent as it can be difficult to come by internet in Havana. Overall our stay was close to flawless, and I would definitely stay in Villa Vera again.

Ich möchte mich ganz herzlich bei Mario und Yoli bedanken. Sie haben alles perfekt geplant. Meine Zeit in Vedado war einfach fantastisch. Die Unterkunft liegt zwar zentral aber trotzdem ruhig und ein bisschen privat nicht direkt an der Hauptstraße was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Der Balkon ist wunderschön die Klimaanlage und alle anderen Einrichtungen haben einwandfrei funktioniert. Die warme Dusche war eine Wohltat und die gesamte Wohnung war sehr sauber. Besonders schön fand ich die nette Geste zur Begrüßung eine Flasche Havana Club das hat sofort einladende Stimmung geschaffen. Mario und Yoli haben mich sehr freundlich empfangen sie sind wirklich liebe Menschen. Ich kann die Unterkunft jedem nur empfehlen und würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz 😊🙏🏿

Very comfortable stay. Just as described. Comfortable kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms. You are connected to the same electrical grid as the hospital so there are no blackouts. You are on the top floor and there is an elevator. Alexander was extremely helpful and clear when checking in / out. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Très bonne expérience dans l'appartement de Clara. J'ai aimé le grand espace, la grande table, l'eau chaude dans la douche à toute heure, la douceur des draps, aller écouter de la musique le soir à la Vitrola juste en face, aller manger dans les resto en bord de mer, la facilité d'accès au centre ville par Línea... et bien sûr, l'accueil et l'aide de Clara quand j'en ai eu besoin, qui vit à côté.

This apartment can only be described as a Magical place, from it’s amazing locating in front of Hotel Nacional de Cuba which is an Icon of the Cuban culture, the quality of the people visiting the building, so close to restaurants and entertainment places, taxi access 24 hrs a day without the need to wait for it, beautiful view from the balcony , clean place, very well maintained, nice decoration, original bathroom with great water pressure in the shower, very quiet for relaxing and a romantic get away. Gabriela was not only helpful but she went the extra mile to accommodate my needs, her father Roberto waited for me in front of the building to give me a tour of the place and to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The only problem I had was not having enough time to stay longer. This place made me fall in love with Habana again.

The house is very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had a nice fridge with a good filter water system and they also have another really good fridge that if you are celebrating any event is perfect for those drinks. The kitchen in general is pretty good and BIG. The common areas are very nice, all with a/c wich is really needed in Cuba.The backyard and pool were always very clean because they have a person who clean every day. All a/c around the house worked very good and the generator covered everything in the house when the power went out; one of the day the generator had a little issue but I called Eduardo and he came to fix it himself in 30 mins, and only took him to fix like 5-10 mins..I loved that.The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms are good too. I would definitely come back and recommended it because all my family and me loved the house and we had a really nice family time there with no issues.the house is surrounded by embassies wich it make it safe

Ho soggiornato nell'appartamento di Carlos a L'Avana e l'ho trovato molto accogliente, situato in una zona deliziosa della città, perfetta per immergersi nell’atmosfera locale. Pur non essendo una struttura di recentissima costruzione, è comunque ben funzionante e dotata di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno piacevole. Consigliato a chi cerca un'esperienza autentica e confortevole.

Beautiful home! Security and house staff were friendly and very helpful! Restaurants are within walking distance. House was well kept, clean and lots of room for 5 adults. The pool area was beautiful and a great place to relax in the evening. Would stay again.

Carlos ist einfach zu nett und kümmert sich so dermaßen um seine Gäste!!!! Unfassbar! Vertraut ihm! Er will euch helfen und gibt super Tipps. Für jedes Problem hat er eine Lösung! Das ganze dann auch noch so nett und freundlich! Das hat unserem Start in den Urlaub so viel einfacher gemacht. Ohne ihm wäre alles so viel komplizierter geworden. Davon abgesehen ist das Haus so super schön und liebevoll eingerichtet, dass man sich in Havanna hineingezogen fühlt. Wir wünschen ihm nur das Beste und unendlich viele Gäste, die ihm Freude bereiten. Lasst euch auf das Abenteuer Kuba ein, verzeiht dem Land die Unannehmlichkeiten und genießt die schönen Seiten! Und ein guter Ausgangspunkt ist diese Unterkunft!!!

Our stay was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond for our family and were quick to respond to every message and request whether on line or in person. Everything and everyone were so great and helpful. We all loved the breakfast offered in the house. Odess helped coordinate a day trip to Varadero for us and taxis whenever we needed. The girls who work in the house are equally as incredible. We had the most perfect time and will definitely be returning soon.

Inelia & Ulisses ( e Noah il mio perito preferito)sono stati più che una famiglia...la più bella vacanza della mia vita ed è stata così tanto bella per merito loro...mi mancherà tutto di Cuba ma loro 3 in special modo... disponibili oltre ogni immaginazione vi aiuteranno in tutti i modi e sarete senza pensieri sempre allegri , gentilissimi e meravigliosi, appartamento perfetto non manca dì nulla e più tranquillo rispetto al caotico centro di L'HABANA... tornerò perché ormai sono parte di me ...lo consiglio a tutti...e si fa amicizia con tutto il quartiere facilmente e al momento della partenza io sono stato da loro 20 giorni sarete tristi come me nel fare ritorno al vostro paese..❤️❤️❤️😃😃😃🇵🇷🇮🇹⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything was as advertised, the apartment was clean and Lorenzo was very helpful. I fully enjoyed my stray.

Great stay. Everything as advertised. No elevator so understand that you're climbing 5 flights if stairs. Being that Great. Beer bar down stairs. The guy that works there will help you with your bags. Tossed him$5. He also went and got water for me. So if you need something from the store, he'll take you or go get it for you. The view is great and the hot tub is nice on a Havana night.

This was the perfect location to stay for a few nights in Havana. Secure well lighted building right on the Malecon. Great ocean views. Host was very nice and gave lots of information.

el lugar está increíble. He estado en La Habana en 8 ocasiones y este ha sido el mejor lugar, seguiré yendo a este lugar sin duda. Se puede lavar ropa, por lo que es de gran ayuda para no cargar mucho equpaje, Estela quien nos atendió es una excelente persona, se mantuvo siempre atenta. Nos asearon el apartamento cada 3 días. el mejor lugar.

This is the best place that I have stayed in Havana. The apartment was clean, spacious, well decorated and modern. I think it was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The sheets were incredibly soft. The balcony was a beautiful spot to sit to enjoy the sights and sounds of Vedado. Estela, the owner, was amazing to get to know. She is so kind and thoughtful and it is clear that she took great care to make her place hospitable for her guests. I will rent this place every time I'm in Havana. What a find!

Persone molto simpatiche, gentile e molto disponibile. Ottimo rapporto qualità e prezzo. Facile da prendere mezzi per girare anche se rientri tardi.

Fue grandiosa la estancia la locación es perfecta y muy céntrica , la vista del balcón es increíble , todo está bien organizado y limpio y la propiedad sinceramente luce mejor que en las fotos , tiene un espacio muy bien logrado en el balcón para tomar té o un café o leer un buen libro , el lugar está increíble y Aldo y Vanessa estuvieron pendientes todo el tiempo de cada necesidad que tuvimos , son magníficos anfitriones y recomiendo esta propiedad 100 %
