Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Havana

We had a wonderful stay. Our hosts Dunia & Nelly were super friendly and helpful. Dunia had our currency changed and arranged taxis when needed. The best part of this apartment is the balcony. The views are amazing and it was always nice and breezy. The furniture was also comfortable. We spent so much time there when we were home. Bottled water, beer and sodas were available for a small fee. You can also have breakfast prepared for a fee. All very convenient I highly recommend this place!

My family and I had the most wonderful stay in Villa Vera. We all believed it had to be the greatest Airbnb in the city. We were given a Cuban phone which was extremely useful. Yenier's staff always responded to us right away and they gave us so many great recommendations. We did a full day beach excursion and were taken to the most gorgeous spot. The phone was also very helpful to arrange for taxis to take us where we needed to go, often at the last minute. We also made the very smart choice to have a dinner cooked by the private chef on our first night. What an absolute treat it was, the food was incredible, probably the best meal we had in Havana. Having dinner in the house is a must. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. Having wifi in the house was excellent as it can be difficult to come by internet in Havana. Overall our stay was close to flawless, and I would definitely stay in Villa Vera again.

Very comfortable stay. Just as described. Comfortable kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms. You are connected to the same electrical grid as the hospital so there are no blackouts. You are on the top floor and there is an elevator. Alexander was extremely helpful and clear when checking in / out. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Very good experience in Clara's apartment. I loved the great space, the large table, the hot water in the shower at all hours, the softness of the sheets, going to listen to music in the evening at La Vitrola just opposite, go to the restaurants by the sea, the ease of access to the city center by Línea... and of course, the welcome and help of Clara when I needed it, who lives next door.

Highly recommended! Although the building and elevator are old, the apartment is modern and has all the amenities. We were greeted by the co-host Ruth, a very kind person and always attentive to our needs. The location is very good, close to the esplanade and with restaurants and wineries nearby. We would definitely come back

This apartment can only be described as a Magical place, from it’s amazing locating in front of Hotel Nacional de Cuba which is an Icon of the Cuban culture, the quality of the people visiting the building, so close to restaurants and entertainment places, taxi access 24 hrs a day without the need to wait for it, beautiful view from the balcony , clean place, very well maintained, nice decoration, original bathroom with great water pressure in the shower, very quiet for relaxing and a romantic get away. Gabriela was not only helpful but she went the extra mile to accommodate my needs, her father Roberto waited for me in front of the building to give me a tour of the place and to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The only problem I had was not having enough time to stay longer. This place made me fall in love with Habana again.

The house is very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had a nice fridge with a good filter water system and they also have another really good fridge that if you are celebrating any event is perfect for those drinks. The kitchen in general is pretty good and BIG. The common areas are very nice, all with a/c wich is really needed in Cuba.The backyard and pool were always very clean because they have a person who clean every day. All a/c around the house worked very good and the generator covered everything in the house when the power went out; one of the day the generator had a little issue but I called Eduardo and he came to fix it himself in 30 mins, and only took him to fix like 5-10 mins..I loved that.The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms are good too. I would definitely come back and recommended it because all my family and me loved the house and we had a really nice family time there with no issues.the house is surrounded by embassies wich it make it safe

I stayed in Carlos' apartment in Havana and found it very welcoming, located in a delightful area of the city, perfect for immersing yourself in the local atmosphere. Although not a very recently built structure, it is still well-functioning and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Recommended for those looking for an authentic and comfortable experience.

Beautiful home! Security and house staff were friendly and very helpful! Restaurants are within walking distance. House was well kept, clean and lots of room for 5 adults. The pool area was beautiful and a great place to relax in the evening. Would stay again.

Our stay at Carlos' place was great. The space is fantastic and very well decorated. Janio (Carlos' concierge) was extremely attentive and helpful. Having a phone with a local sim card makes all the difference! Staying at this place gives you more than just a place to sleep. Price is on the high end of the range compared with other places and could perhaps be lowered a bit, but if your budget allows, I would still recommend it! I give this place a 10/10!

Our stay was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond for our family and were quick to respond to every message and request whether on line or in person. Everything and everyone were so great and helpful. We all loved the breakfast offered in the house. Odess helped coordinate a day trip to Varadero for us and taxis whenever we needed. The girls who work in the house are equally as incredible. We had the most perfect time and will definitely be returning soon.

i start by saying that everything has far exceeded my expectations...the real Cuba is here live it as I did... Inelia & Ulisses ( and Noah my favorite expert)were more than a family... the most beautiful vacation of my life and it was so beautiful due to them...I will miss everything in Cuba but their 3 in special way... available beyond every imagination they will help you in every way and you will be without thoughts always cheerful , very kind and wonderful, perfect apartment does not lack anything and more quiet than the chaotic center of L'HABANA... I will come back because I am now part of me ... I recommend it to everyone...and you make friends with the whole neighborhood easily and at the time of departure I have been from them 20 days as I would like to return to your country..❤️❤️❤️😃😃😃🇵🇷🇮🇹⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything was as advertised, the apartment was clean and Lorenzo was very helpful. I fully enjoyed my stray.

Great stay. Everything as advertised. No elevator so understand that you're climbing 5 flights if stairs. Being that Great. Beer bar down stairs. The guy that works there will help you with your bags. Tossed him$5. He also went and got water for me. So if you need something from the store, he'll take you or go get it for you. The view is great and the hot tub is nice on a Havana night.

This was the perfect location to stay for a few nights in Havana. Secure well lighted building right on the Malecon. Great ocean views. Host was very nice and gave lots of information.

the place is amazing. I have been to Havana 8 times and this has been the best place, I will continue to go to this place without a doubt. Clothes can be washed, so it is very helpful not to carry a lot of equpaje, Estela who attended us is a great person, she was always attentive. We cleaned the apartment every 3 days. the greatest place.

This is the best place that I have stayed in Havana. The apartment was clean, spacious, well decorated and modern. I think it was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The sheets were incredibly soft. The balcony was a beautiful spot to sit to enjoy the sights and sounds of Vedado. Estela, the owner, was amazing to get to know. She is so kind and thoughtful and it is clear that she took great care to make her place hospitable for her guests. I will rent this place every time I'm in Havana. What a find!
