The views are STUNNING. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the tranquility of the property and helpfulness of the on-site property manager and other staff of the gated community. The drive from the main road is INTENSE. There’s no way to do it without a 4x4 vehicle. I highly recommend this place!

can’t recommend this place enough! The location is simply unbeatable just a 3 minute walk to playa maderas beach which is the best beach for surfing in the area, yet tucked away in nature so you feel completely relaxed and surrounded by tranquility. It’s the best of both worlds: close enough to enjoy the sun and sea anytime, but still quiet, private, and serene. Waking up to the sounds of birds, monkeys and the breeze through the trees was magical. The surrounding area is lush and green, with plenty of space to unwind and feel connected to nature. It was the perfect escape from the busyness of daily life. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, making sure everything was spotless and comfortable. You can really tell they care about creating a special experience for guests. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat by the beach in a truly beautiful setting, this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back!

A magical place for a relaxing stay away from the bustle in town. Nearby Playa Majagual is incredible, great for swimming as the little bay is quite protected, and El Ranchito, the restaurant run by Luis and his family, is awesome. Owner is very responsive. One of my favourite Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at.

We spent more than two weeks in Casa Annica and highly recommend this place. The apartment is in a totally quiet location and has everything you need. We were totally undisturbed and enjoyed nature. The pool is very nice and is cleaned daily, there are numerous hammocks and cozy rocking chairs to relax outside. Annika and Tony were always quickly accessible, helpful and took care of all of our requests. The bedroom has air conditioning, which we did not use often, as the temperature was very pleasant with a fan. The property is 5 minutes away from the beach of Maderas, which we personally preferred to visit. The place is suitable for families as well as solo travelers and couples.
