Apartment holiday rentals in Playa Negra

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Mangovillas. What a beautiful quiet place they created, close to Puerto Viejo and Cocles. It was great using the bikes to visit the beaches and to go to the supermarket. The national park of Manzanillo is around 20 mins by car. I travelled alone and felt very safe and comfortable. The wifi is excellent, so it's perfect to work as well. I hope to return soon.

We couldn’t have picked a better place for our two night stay. The location is secluded away from the hassle and bustle of Puerto Viejo but close where you can take a Tuk Tuk or bike ride (easy to rent nearby) to the center. Playa Chiquita is the closest beach but you can also visit Cocles and Punta Uva (our fave). The Airbnb has all the amenities you need and the host, Stephanie, was very responsive. We hope to return to this hidden oasis soon!

It's a lovely little house! It was just what we were looking for in terms of enough space, equipment, and privacy. We were 6 people and the place offers enough space so that we could all be at ease together or separately ( it has ample terrace, living room, and dining room). They keep it very well. In addition, it is surrounded by nature and the landscape is very relaxing. Downtown Cahuita is close by car like 3 minutes. In addition, Ashley's attention was outstanding! We're happy we went.

Apartment was clean and matched the photos. The location is quiet and the beach is easy to reach. Communication was good and easy. If you want to cook yourself, the kitchen could be better equipped (e.g. additional pot or pan).

Place was exactly as in photos, nice clean and pretty! Everything worked fine, A/C on point, nice spot to leave your car safe with electric gate.. I would def recommend the spot and would stay again with Shannon👍🏾

Place looks even better when you come there. Apartment was superb, clean and vozy. Host is very responsive and helps with everything. Great breakfast, great location... What else to ask for?

Very close to the center of town

Selvin cabins have an excellent location, very close to Punta Uva. The accommodation was very spacious and clean. The room had several spaces and a terrace. They were also flexible with check-in and check-out. Overall, a great place to stay.

Lovely stay. about an hour's walk or $6 Uber from town. cycled in most days. beautiful route via the beach. very peaceful and beautiful stay. the villa was very big and clean. kitchen was well equipped. pool area beautifully clean. felt immersed in the jungle- very private and peaceful.

We discovered Jessy's place through Google on the internet. I actually prefer to book directly with the host. Airbnb gets a share of about 20% for each booking. We stayed with Jessy for a week. It's a nice place to stay with a very well-kept outdoor area. For longer stays, the apartment is a bit cramped. I would recommend other guests to book Jessy's larger apartment in this case, as it has a large dining table. A very big advantage was that we could use the communal terrace with dining table. It is located right next to the room. Jessy provides her guests with games, a TV and Alexa. You can also use a large grill on the terrace. The Internet is sometimes disrupted and a bit slow in the region, but Jessy will soon get a fast fiber optic connection. Finally, I can tell you that Jessy is a very attentive and friendly hostess!

The location was perfect, super close to the beach, very close to the center, Peggy, the host is super communicative and always available to help and clarify doubts, I went with my dog and the space is perfect

I don’t even know where to begin; I’m so in love 🩷 Mercedes is a 100/100 host! Her apartment is stunning! It is spacious, immaculately clean and located near the most delicious restaurants with only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Playa Negra. I have had the oppertunity to see iguanas, tucans, beautiful birds and butterflies just feet away from the balcony. Supermarkets are near and the neighborhood is friendly. Mercedes is a pleasure and she takes care of any issues that may occur quickly. I cannot recommend this space enough. It will quickly become your home away from home and you will never want to leave 🥰

Jacky was always very friendly and thoughtful, the place is very nice, safe, quiet and private. I recommend this place and I would definitely return with my family, it is one of the few places with a pool and air conditioning in the area , very well located
