Beautiful 2 bedroom + 2 bathroom apartment, fully renovated on the beachfront, with spectacular views of the San Vicente de la Barquera estuary and the Picos de Europa. Direct access to the large beach. Garage space. Surf schools, stand-up paddle boarding, and daily shops are nearby. A pleasant 10-minute walk across the Maza bridge takes you to the village. The apartment is ideal for a family with 2 children. It has a must-have garage here. It is well placed to enjoy the waves of Meron beach, and to paddle in the ria. The balcony and the fact that the apartment is on the first floor allowed us to store our surf and paddleboard equipment. Note, the village of San Vicente is within walking distance (1.2 kms), and the neighborhood has the necessary shops/ restaurants for the stay.

The house is in a fantastic position just above a wonderful beach We had two dogs and it was perfect for them The house itself was very comfortable and well equipped and the beds were comfortable Mauricio was very easy to reach and his wife and daughter showed us around the house when we arrived which made things easier There was some building work next door but other than some builder parking issues which were quickly resolved it didn’t really bother us The work was in its final stages Overall we loved the house and the host was really nice

We loved the place! It is within walking distance of a small but well stocked supermarket (though you do have to walk uphill and it’s a bit steep), several restaurants and beaches. Good thing the apt comes with a parking spot because there’s nowhere else to park nearby, except paid parking by Merón’s beach. Stunning sunsets, long walks and a laid back feeling made our stay relaxed and enjoyable.

The place was modern and very well equipped and by far one of the most amazing vacation rentals we've had so far and really great for a family of four. There were two bedrooms with great beds, two bathrooms, a kitchen-living room and a balcony with an amazing view of San Vincente de la Barquera. The first two days were quite fresh and we had to try something to get the hot water heater going, there is a switch (light switch) in the kitchen, which either turns on the extractor hood or the boiler. A description for use in English would be very helpful. We had great holidays and will definitely be back. You feel at home, with great waves for surfing.
