Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Platteville

The Bungalow had everything we needed plus a lot of charm. Great place and host! We had a great time for the CWS and LSU went 2-0 so what more could we ask for. Amanda gave us some great recommendations and went out of her way to make us feel at home.

We arrived in Dubuque for a day cruise down the Mississippi. Nathan's place was conveniently close to the port. Beds are comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. Good experience thanks Nathan!

We only stayed for one night during our long road trip. While we didn't get to spend much time on the property, it was a beautiful home and just what we needed to relax for a bit as we continued our trip. The host was very proactive in messaging and extremely friendly. We will definitely come back and hopefully get to enjoy it a bit more this time.

This is an older house, but well kept and in a great location. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay in Omaha.

Layne's house was exactly as described and what the pics showed. The house has all the necessary amenities and then some. WE (blaming my mother... LOL) had a glitch with the door and contacted Layne. He was quick to respond and correct the issue. The area is in a nice quiet neighborhood, which wasn't far from the museums and Downtown. We found several places to eat but if you get a chance, stop in Tornado's Grub & Pub for the BEST burgers! Me, my mom, sister, & sis-in-love took a girls trip to Iowa so I could check it off my bucket list (9 more states to go!!). We all agreed that Layne's A-Frame home was the perfect spot.

Second stay. Quiet neighborhood, loved walking the Gibraltar area. Always appreciate the muffins and fresh flowers. Melissa was quick to reply to any questions. Would staying again if available.

If you have kids stay here! This place was fantastic! It’s easy to get to, clean, inviting, well kept, quiet, safe, on & on! The host was accommodating when I told her we had infant twins, going out of her way to get us another travel cot & high chair. She even covered the outlets. The baby gates are already installed. She has baby bath-time items, children’s dishes, the list goes on. Our big kids loved the basement toys & books! Dye free/unscented options are available at this condo for bathroom kitchen & laundering! I’ve never stayed in an Airbnb that was so well stocked. The beds were comfy. Ceiling fans here! *Something to note (not that it bothered us, but just that we aren’t used to) There is not a yard. There is no garbage disposal. We are not tv people but the basement is where the lone tv is. This basement was a bit chilly as others have mentioned, but not so cold that you can’t enjoy it. Bonus- there is a park across the street! It’s such a quiet, creak free home. Book NOW!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, just 10 to 15 minutes away from all we wanted to do in Omaha. I really liked having a garage to park in. The house was the perfect size for us and lovely!

Amazing place!! The condo was perfect for me and my teens. It was SUPER Clean, very beautiful and modern. Very spacious and my kids loved it! I loved the bedroom and the fancy lighting. Only two things that were more so a personal preference I wish the water would stay warmer longer. I’m a woman and thick and I love my showers and within 10mins it was cold.. my daughter complained also.. other than that it was great, again a personal preference. THANK YOU BOTH! Very quick to communicate and very helpful! Highly recommend this place and host.

This was such a wonderful apartment. It was safe, clean, and peaceful. The hosts were helpful, caring, and communicative. The circumstances surrounding the reason for our stay were highly emotional and staying with Steve and Melissa gave us a perfect place for peace and respite at the end of the day. It is a lovely place offered by lovey people. Will definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

My stay was great. The space was very welcoming and well stocked. the bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet and located to lots of amenities.

Comfortable 2 bedroom space. Air conditioning worked great, kitchen was spacious, beds comfortable. Nice to have a washer/dryer in unit. The only comment for potential stays if driving a larger vehicle: the garage is great but tight and at a sharper angle! Our smaller SUV almost didn’t fit, but luckily we were able to squeeze in. Cars and small SUV shouldn’t have an issue, a 3rd row vehicle may not fit.

The unit was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a nice, well-appointed kitchen. The neighborhood was well connected to the bike path network, and also easy to access by car. We had an enjoyable, pleasant stay, and Brooke was an excellent host.

Great location for conference events. The convention center was a 20min walk for me. Lots of things to do that are very close. Nice open concept floor plan. Will definitely book again if available as the conference I attended is usually every other year in Omaha. Also the hosts were excellent!

We had a great stay at Kathy’s place, everything was just as described.

The place was very clean and very well organized. Things were labeled and placed to feel natural. It felt like a nice comfortable home to stay in.
