Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Platanos

Excellent location, wonderful host and the amenities are as described. Litsa was so welcoming, gave us homemade bread/cake and also shared homemade lasagne with us. she also offered some toys for our little one and beach towels for us during our stay. highly recommend for the experience and location as restaurants and old town are a very short walk away. koum kapi beach is a 5 min walk as well. couldn't recommend enough..

Andreas was a friendly and responsive host who answered our questions promptly. The flat was well equipped and in an excellent location very close to the old town. We would definitely stay again when next back in Chania!

Very nice home and location very nice, walkable to harbor and old town which was very nice! Lots of restaurants! The house was very clean and comfortable and really pretty view of the sea from living room area. The layout was very nice as bathroom on floor of living are and second floor with bedrooms with full bath very nice, lots of room!! My only complaint was, in my opinion, the portrait over master bed was very provocative and also, in my opinion, offensive being a female. Don’t understand why there must be naked pictures of female. This really offended me and can’t understand why??? Laura Rehm

What a comfortable stay we had at Judy and Mike’s beautiful Apartment Francesca! Suited our needs very well indeed. Fabulous location & views. Loved the private patio and relaxing by the pool. Judy and Mike are indeed ‘Super Hosts’, nothing was too much trouble. Recommended some fabulous taverna’s. It was a pleasure meeting them and their lovely dogs! Why we loved the location: Plenty of walks from the doorstep. Vamos only a short distance with excellent taverna’s and a great coffee shop next to the tourist office in Vamos Old Town. A short drive to Kalives which has a beautiful beach and seafood taverna’s on the beach front. Look forward to our return and would love to stay longer next time! Great experience!! We stayed at this wonderful Airbnb and our expectations were really exceeded. The place was spotless, comfortable and very well cared for – but what really made the difference was the staff. From the first moment, we were greeted with kindness, a smile and authentic hospitality. They were always available for whatever we needed, willing to help with joy and good mood. You didn't just feel like a visitor – you felt like a guest! The feeling of warmth and respect they showed us made our stay truly unforgettable. Such service is rare and deserves to be recognized. Everything described and shown of this property is undervaluing its delight. This is beautifully and perfectly placed in Chania. It has everything you need within the property, whether there's 1 or 5 staying. There's lots of do within easy walking distance, including the delicious Periplous restaurant down the road, the sea opposite, and that view!! --- blissfully divine perks of the location Antonis and Nikos are so helpful and considerate. From my welcoming arrival, it was a serene joy and so simply perfect I could live there. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for hosting. Είναι όμορφο

This apartment is a real gem, elegant, tidy and tastefully furnished. Small kitchen and bathroom with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is also a small terrace that is still liveable. Upon our arrival, Marios had us find 2 croissants for breakfast made by his mother, very good and very welcome! As a host, he was very responsive in his answers and gave us a lot of advice on restaurants and places to visit. Overall a very positive experience!

Desiree was an impeccable accommodation. The place was everything we could have dreamed of and more…location, decor & special touches were top notch. The host Maria was responsive, and her helper Manousos was the nicest man who met us to provide the keys and showed us the place. We loved that this place also comes with parking. Maria’s mom had put together 3 containers of her chicken and potatoes for my family upon arrival. We were also treated with a bottle of wine, snacks, fruits, and bottled water. A water gun was left for our son. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Chania.

The very well-equipped accommodation was very clean and spacious enough for 5 adults. The large terrace offers a beautiful view of Kissamos Bay. We had a great time there. Recommended without reservation!

Wonderful stay! The location is incredible. It’s in a beautiful area with historic alleyways, very walkable but not right next to bars so it’s not very loud at night. There is some noise at night as people are walking home and sit outside, but nothing that prevented us from sleeping well. The space was very clean and perfect for our stay. Michalis was a wonderful host and made us feel very comfortable and took care of everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect place to stay while in Chania and exploring Crete. Close to everything but on a charming quiet street tucked away from the noise and crowds. Next to some of the best restaurants in town. Apartment was private, spacious and very clean. AC worked great. WiFi was ok. One thing to note is stairs are steep and second bedroom is accessible through the first bedroom, up another flight of stairs and , detached and on the rooftop space with a nice seating area and hot tub. Everything was great though and would highly recommend!

We had a very great late summer in Kanevos. The description and photos correspond to the actual events. Communication with Christos was fantastic. Very friendly and fast. The outdoor facilities are a dream and we also had many great hours in and around the house. The parents, who were partly in the upper apartment, are very nice and welcomed us warmly, provided us with specialties and tips. We would come back any time!

Fantastic place. Great views from the sun terrace overlooking the bay, so could sit and watch boats and cruise ships on their way to Chania. Only 5 mins walk down a gentle hill to the beach, shops & restaurants. Felt very private, although there were other apartments there, it is laid out so you are not overlooked. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival and apartment staff were there every day keeping the pool and surrounding areas clean & tidy. Gas BBQ on the terrace was great. Good choice of restaurants along the beach, as well as a few small supermarkets in the centre. 40 mins drive from the airport and well positioned for visiting Chania (which was beautiful) and exploring the area. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and have already recommended it to friends, and would definitely stay again. Kreta Eiendom's team were very responsive, when we had a small issue during our stay.

Had a lovely stay at Elina's beautiful home. Town is just walking distance away, and there are plenty of restaurants around the area - close to the bus station too! Apartment is spacious, and has all the amenities you might need; Elina was a great host, and gave many helpful recommendations of what to do and see around the area. Would definitely stay again - thank you!

The apartment, its location, and the hosts’ hospitality are simply impressive. The room had everything we needed - even sun hats, beach towels, and slippers. A separate crib was provided for our son. The apartment also came with a juicer, toaster, coffee machine, coffee, tea, and plenty of food. However, the place is better suited for couples without small children. Our 1-year-4-month-old son constantly wanted to go up and down the stairs (which isn’t very safe) or out onto the balcony. Still, he managed to enjoy the beautiful views and woke up saying ‘wooow.’ 😁 The water at the beach is perfect for small children and peaceful relaxation. We had a wonderful vacation! Nearby, we discovered a lovely restaurant called Halepa with incredible sunsets and delicious seafood - highly recommended.

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

The host was very helpful in every way, and walking distance to everywhere. It was our first time in Crete and I would highly recommend per home due to its location

The flat was perfect, especially if you have a rental car. It was a great base to explore Crete, enjoy the proximity from Chania, and come back home by the end of the day. It's very spacious and has a home feeling, very well equipped, extra clean. We were even able to cook some nice food in the oven. Definitely worth a stay, keep in mind it is not in the city center though.

It was a special vacation. Pavlos is a great person very helpful in many ways. The apartment exceeded our expectations. Immaculate cleanliness of the house , pool and garden. The area of the apartment is impressive and the furnishings of the apartment. You can say a lot in superlatives. Our daughters were delighted and so were we. We'll definitely go back. The perfect place to explore the western part of the island. Peace and quiet. Private parking is a big advantage. We're so happy. We love this place.
