Holiday houses in Platanias

We loved the large balcony that wrapped around the apartment . The sunsets were incredible from there. The outside & inside furniture was of a very good quality and it was great to be able to sit out in the evenings. Inside is very well designed, a great layout, the kitchen is very well equipped and the sofas are very comfortable, the view from the sitting room and kitchen has an incredible sea view . The bathroom is really spacious with a great shower and 2 basins , all of a high standard. The 3 bedrooms all a good size, had lovely views towards the old village and town built up in to the mountain . The bedding was of an exceptional quality. The apartment was so close to the beach & to the the old town. We had incredible meals at both. A bus stop at the end of the road and many supermarkets were great too. Both Phillipe & Michelle were excellent hosts, attentive & helpful, you couldn’t fault them. We loved our stay! Thank you!

A unique house, it is everything you need, great arrangement of rooms, spacious terrace for any time of the day with a view of the sea, but without the hustle and bustle of the main street of Agia marina. well-equipped kitchen, as well as the whole house, we did not miss anything. In the area you have everything you need, shops, taverns, bars and beaches. I definitely recommend it, the hosts are super hospitable and we thank them very much! Greetings! 5 out of 5!

We had the loveliest time at Ioanna’s place! Ioanna is such a gem and made us feel right at home. She met us outside the Uber and walked us to the Airbnb, providing us with any needed information. It rained the day we arrived, leaving a dust on the steps and balconies. Without hesitation, Ioanna left us her umbrella, for the entirety of our stay, and had the balcony cleaned once the rain stopped. The beach is nearby along with plenty of shops and restaurants. Agioklima Restaurant, which is right around the corner, is a must! The food is amazing, the staff are beyond kind and offer great service, and the ambience is so welcoming. It was definitely a favorite of ours. Ioanna also offers plenty of recommendations and if you are looking to visit Chania, there is a bus you can walk to that will get you there in about 30-40 minutes. Overall, we loved our time spent at Ioanna’s and in Platanias. I would, without hesitation, stay here again. Thank you again Ioanna and many blessings! xoxo

Valia’s villa was a dream! Gorgeous view, modern, well appointed. The pool was lovely and the air conditioning worked really well. Can’t wait to return!

Maria is a wonderful host. A very kind lady who is always available to make your holiday perfect. Beautiful house with super comfy beds. We all loved the pool which was shaded and tranquil. Highly recommended!

What an amazing property near Chania! Our family absolutely loved the place, and the views cannot be beat. Being able to see the ocean and feel the warm breeze every morning on the balcony was so special. It was also very close to the Agia Marina and Platanias beach that we went to everyday; old town Chania was just 20mins away. Nikki was a great host and so responsive, she was able to answer all our questions. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Anastasia was very gracious and responsive all along the way: helping me find the place which wasn't obvious (the roads are narrow and very windy) and came out to greet me; suggesting where to by groceries; providing additional amenities like a beach towel; and she especially went out of her way to help me retrieve some items I left behind. Anastasia was very proactive about improving things so entered the apartment several times (most times after asking permission). The apartment is great, two separate beds, a/c only in the bedroom and must be left off when leaving apartment (there is a mechanisms go guarantee this). Great for vacation, minor (almost inconsequential) discomfort with not having a location with to work on a laptop with nearby outlets and a/c in the same room. Wi-fi worked okay, but password was not provided upfront so I had to get it from Anastasia and that took several attempts. But once it was up, it was up and running. Quiet location in nice Cretan village.
