This air-conditioned mini-sized wooden cabana on stilts is attached on one side to another "One World" rental unit. It has its own entrance and a pretty outside sitting area, complete with hammock. Inside the building you will find a comfortable twin bed with a bedside table as well as a toilet, wash basin and shower, separated from the sleeping area only by a curtain. This place is perfect for an uncomplicated traveler who needs a clean, basic space in a great location right in town!

Great place to stay in Placencia! Perfect location for walking to restaurants, the beach and the grocery store. We enjoyed having our daily siesta in the lovely air conditioning, but utilized the screened in patio for reading in the hammock and hanging clothes to dry. Nice bathroom and shower, comfortable bed as well. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic. The plunge pool exceeded expectations and was very well kept. We found out later in our trip how amazing that shady paradise really was. The dock was a great place to sit and lookout over the ocean for coffee.. for drinks.. for reading- it was incredible. The location, as described, is a little bit north of the main Placencia village, but there were still a few places to walk to and get a nice meal. Otherwise you'd have to rent or taxi to town and then walk around. Most communication for taxis and such were done over Whats App which was really convenient with lots of wifi available around town at the bars/restaurants. Everything was as described. We would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Cool Breeze Cabanas. Will definitely stay there for our next trip back to Placencia. Candice did an extraordinary job meeting our expectations as well as prompt communication. It's a no frills accommodations, but very clean and there is no place closer to the beach than this cabana. If needed, Candice will set up any excursions and meal reservations for you. Definitely recommend.

What a great place. CLEAN! I walked in and was so impressed with how clean it is that I booked the room again right then and there for the next weekend! It is located an easy and pleasant walk from the restaurants, beach and bars. The pool was so nice to have right there -- a quick dip in the mornings, another after getting back from whatever I was doing for the day, and another dip before bed. Chris supplied a towel for the pool, as well as nice cushions for the lounge chairs outside. Have I mentioned how clean the place is? Yes, I have, but it's worth noting again. Chris was super helpful with lining up transportation back to the airport. I was traveling alone (female, 57 years old) and felt perfectly safe at The Cashew Cabins. Would I stay there again? Absolutely!

The Tiki Toucan Tropical Suite + Private Pool

The Tiki Toucan was a lovely place to stay, we highly recommend it. All of the amenities were very high quality, from the bedding and towels to the well curated kitchen acutrements and bar accessories. It's a cozy space that is very comfortable but the outside amenities really make the this a fun place to stay. The ocean breeze meant it always felt cool and the view of the ocean was mesmerizing. I'd recommend a car for this location as it's a ways from town, but a short drive. The beach is limited as there are no chairs/loungers, but there is a nice dock for daytime and the pool area more than makes up for it. The hosts were very friendly and had a book with lots of great recommendations.
