“We had a wonderful stay at Joe Jo’s. My sister and I had spent a week doing reef conservation on an even smaller island - and this was such a treat. All of the team - David, Carmen - are amazing. The spaces are charming and you end up getting to know the people in the island - visitors and locals - if you allow it. This makes for a marvellous holiday. We spent a full week - and I was sad to come home. I already miss Carmen’s cooking (I think I may crave fry jacks now) and the perpetual sunshine and calm. The snorkelling on the East side of the Caye is incredible. There is also a great dive master on the island who took us for great dives near and at Glover’s. There are also really great locals - Nolan, Doggie, Noble - who took ya on great adventures for manatees, snorkelling, freediving for lobster and more. They team will go above and beyond to make your stay incredible. David even repaired my sister’s bag that broke during our trip. Thank you for an incredible new year.”

“Every review is spot on. This place is Amazing. We had 12 people come for 4 days 8 of them kids all under 10. Jerome never left a belly not bursting at the seams. We had lobster almost every meal, delicious Jack white fish, shrimp, conc, and even a barricade they caught. This island is a fantastic tight knit community that relies on each other for everything. The food and company was delicious. Again, the pictures are very accurate. This is in a true Belizian home, and if you know that and want to experience that, your stay is going to be phenomenal you are welcomed in as family as soon as you hop on the dock. Amazing snorkeling is literally 10 steps out your back door, and at a nice sandy beach entry or a jump off the dock. It was safe and my kids loved it. If there was any negative to our experience it was self inflicted. I mean we did bring 8 small children, who tend to wander explore, laugh, and even play loudly. We were informed, by some other traveling guests that they did not appreciate it, but never by the locals. They played with our kids, laughed with them and taught them amazing things. The journey there was just as fun. Ask for Feya, he is hands down the best boat Captain. He grew up on the islands and has traveled the waters for decades since he was a young man. Again, I can’t say anything else about what a great experience this was for my young budding traveling family, not to mention the price. We spent 4 days there and can still afford diapers. Ha.”

“I don't even know where to start with this review. This place is amazing. My wife and I came to this place for 7 days to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and we fell in love with this place and the people that work here. Captain Fidel was always making sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Coco cooked for us everyday and let me tell you, you will not find this kind of amazing food at any resort you visit. Dingo and Captian Fidel were so good to show us the ropes with fishing and snorkeling. While we were there we had them take us to the blue hole, it was a long trip but these guys had everything perfectly prepared to make sure our trip was one to remember. These guys really showed us the true experience of diving into their culture. On the last day were were there they took us to the reef that is very close to the island. This water was so blue that you could see all the way down! We saw stingrays daily, caught barracudas, got to see jellyfish up close, dove for a starfish, these guys even took us to see some sharks. Never once did we ever feel unsafe with this crew beside us. We will never forget the experience we had here and hope to return next time as a family!”
