Such a great place to stay for a quick getaway. Local to so many restaurants and bars, easy to walk and navigate around the neighborhood. Will definitely stay again next time we come visit

My family really enjoyed Lydia’s place! It was cozy and comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful and quiet. Our daughter enjoyed watching the chickens and goats. Location was perfect to get to an event in Albany we were attending (20 or so minutes), and there were restaurants and coffee shops within 10 minutes. It was a great stay, thank you so much!

Stayed here with a few friends for a wedding. Was easy to find, quiet at night, had plenty of space for everyone and the beds were very comfortable. Hung out in the upstairs area and the porch in the morning. Would stay again next time we’re in the area!

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the NY mountain woods and love the rustic brewery experience, this is an awesome place to stay! We enjoyed driving the mountain roads by day, exploring neighboring towns (especially getting a mineral spring spa bath and filling a few gallon jugs at the Saratoga Spa State Park with the State Seal mineral water). By night we enjoyed the various beer offerings of Jon the Beer Diviner in the brewery, especially liked the Stout and the Scotch Ale (Glen was right : ) Saturday night we loved the live music and delicious pizza too. Great fire pits on the deck which we enjoyed mostly on our last night all by ourselves after everyone left. Peaceful, eclectic place and exceptionally nice folks, Cindy and Jon! Got some great ideas from the local patrons, Cohoes Falls for one! And even though the weekend was rainy and it snowed as we were leaving, we thoroughly enjoyed this off the beaten path gem in the woods and you will too! We will def be back <3
