Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Pittsburgh

This is our second time staying at this home! Kristina’s home is clean, in a safe and private area, and perfect for a visit to Pittsburgh! We enjoyed being away from downtown, but close enough to visit easily. Clean home and responsive host. Would continue to stay here in the future!

I'm not great at writing reviews but if you're reading this, please magnify it by 10! The place was exactly as described, it was amazing! It was extremely cozy, everything is clean, it has everything you'll need (including laundry & parking), the beds were really comfy, very safe neighborhood and Christine is a wonderful host and very responsive. If you're a nature lover, you'll love relaxing out back taking in all the nature it has to offer. We hope to be able to come back someday and we thank you guys so much!

Jill’s home was lovely and clean. Lots of space but with the tournament we were there to see we were not able to use all of her amenities. Very comfortable and would recommend for those visiting the Pittsburgh area!

Michaels place felt right at home. The space was cozy and comfortable. My husband and I appreciated Michaels clear instructions, suggestions , and quick communication. I really enjoyed the snack options and as always, can never beat a massage chair. I highly recommend Michaels space. It was clean, cozy, and felt right at home. :)

This place was exactly what we were hoping for! We spent 3 days there and it felt just like home! Lazz and Robyn got back to us right away with a couple small questions and made sure our stay was perfect!

Christi’s place was great! It was clean and peaceful. She left out snacks and had filtered water available for refills. We only stayed for one night but would definitely stay again for longer.

If I could give my stay 10 stars, I totally would! I'm a little biased about the location because I grew up probably around 2 min from Larry & Mallory's beautiful home, so I know the area is wonderful, peaceful and quiet!! Super easy to check in! Very clean! They literally thought of everything!! The only steps are the ones to get down to the basement. Very accessible if you have bad knees, or can't do stairs. Bedrooms were clean, comfortable and very inviting. TV in one of three bedrooms, TV in the living room, and a HUGE TV in the basement. Great if you are movie-watchers or tv people. Kitchen has everything you need at hand. The coffee station was amazing! Keurig, French press, whole bean coffee with grinder, creamer, and tea for the tea drinkers! Bathrooms were immaculate, plenty of towels & washcloths. Pool and pool house were stunning! It was like I was staying at a resort! I absolutely would recommend "Robinson Retreats" to everyone & can't wait to go back!

Rose is awesome! My train from DC was 3 hours late and she greeted me at 4 am and showed me around her place.

Great location if you like to stay at Mt Washingtion. Clean place and comfortable. Well thought out. We prefer to stay in the city @ the Omni typically but would stay in a minute if we wanted the hillside. Price was more than fair. If had to offer anything negative is that the front entry door is left unlocked and the lock is actually taped so literally anyone can walk inside and there’s a ton of foot traffic cuz of the viewpoints. So that’s the only thing that we didn’t care for. The main door just needs to be replaced and have working locks. The door to inside the apt has a keypad lock with a deadbolt. Road noise may be an issue if you were to stay on the wknd during the summer. Motorcycles with blasting radios and ATVs passed by pretty often. You hear eveything being on the main road. The shower was awesome! Coffee station is better than most hotels. Again, it’s a convenient spot & the price was acceptable. We paid $258 for Apt #1 w/ the cleaning fee & tax on a Sunday. Our family stayed at John's place during this Memorial Day weekend, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The apartment is super clean, bright, spacious, and very comfortable. Its location is ideal— just a short walk to the Carnegie museums and a large nice park, and within a short drive to downtown. The neighborhood is very safe, peaceful, quiet, and charming, with easy access to local shops and many nice dining options. John is a great host, he provided clear instructions and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Pittsburgh.

Mandy’s apartment was beautiful! And comfortable! High quality furniture and kitchen. Easy parking, very quiet, lots of space, and it’s super clean. It’s within walking distance to everything you could need, or it’s easy to use your car if needed. Mandy is very nice. We had no issues, but she checked on us during our stay. I will definitely stay in her home again if I return to Pittsburgh! Highly recommend a stay with her!

The apartment was very comfortable for two people. We were close to Southside Works and there were many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. We took a lovely 3-mile walk along the trail that runs along the river. We were in town for a concert at PPG Arena, and it was easy to Uber back and forth.

I had a great experience staying at LaShae's apartment. All my questions were answered promptly and directions to the place clearly shared via a video. The neighborhood is lovely and walkable, central and peaceful. The apartment is both modern while preserving its historic charm. It was absolutely spotless!

this was a perfect stay for me and a friend for a 6 day trip! saved us from spending $$$ for a hotel that dont even have half the amenities this place offers. nice neighborhood and walkable to a lot of cool places that we got to check out! communicate was punctual and straightforward. I appreciate the options they gave us for parking, as we were allowed to park in the back of the house and didn't have to deal with street parking. there are 2 sets of stairs that are a steep incline, but that wasn't an issue for us at all. I also appreciate how eco friendly they try to keep the place. overall if you're looking for something that's simple, cute, clean and in a great location, this is a great choice. I would stay here again!

this was a very nice one bedroom apartment set up. quite neighborhood, parking right in front of the house. there is a little coffee bar cart, perfect for the mornings. we only stayed one night, however this apartment would be awesome for quite a few days, home any from home kinda place. I will definitely stay again. thank you Qulya & Derrick for your hospitality.

We loved staying at Mark’s once again! This was our fifth or sixth time here and we always feel at home. Mark has been super clear & on time with his messages regarding check in/check out which made the whole process a lot easier. Hopefully we will be back soon!

Michelle and her dad, Mike, were great hosts! Their apartment is roomy and well equipped. It was a good fit for a family of three, but I wouldn't recommend it for two couples as there's only one bathroom (with a great shower). It's got plenty of workspace, including a full desk, and the underground parking was easy to access. I'd recommend this apartment highly and would be happy to stay there again. Thanks for a great stay in the 'burgh!

Susan is an excellent host—very professional, responsive & friendly. Apartment was in great shape & the location was ideal for us being near family in Highland Park. Would definitely return.

My wife and I were in town for the PJ shows. The location was great as were the views. We had no issues with anything. Parking was easily accessible and reasonably priced. It was an easy walk to the Arena. The Speckled Egg was delicious as were many other spots near by. Pittsburgh was a wonderful experience - food, entertainment, walkability, friendliness, and the Lavaugh's spot was a great spot to rest your head at the end of a long day!

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed at Kelly Jane’s in Wilkinsburg, Pittsburgh It is near our daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law’s which is why we chose it to begin with. But we also loved the apartment—2 bedrooms and it is very clean, pretty quiet, and extremely well furnished. It is probably the best equipped rental I have ever seen. Everything you would need is provided. She has thought of everything. She is always responsive in communications and her instructions are clear. My sister stayed with us here for the first time and she thought it was great too. We really enjoyed our stay.

I needed a place last minute for work and this place worked out great!

We stayed at Kristi's place for two weeks and couldn't have been happier. It was clean and comfortable and had many of the extras that make for an excellent stay: the closets were huge, the kitchen had everything we needed, off-street parking, a water filter, and a nice shower. Kristi was very responsive.

This was my first time in Pittsburgh and wanted to see the city. I couldn't have had a better view than the one I saw from the balcony at Milo's Air B&B and it was a convenient location to the events that I had planned. Checking in and out was simple and Milo was a fantastic host. I would totally recommend this place.

The place is exactly as described. We traveled with our dogs and the space was spacious for all of us. We loved that there is parking in the unit. A little green area is available in the same spot which was convenient for our dogs. We had a question about locking the door and the host was super quick to respond and helpful. I just noticed that the windows were a little bit dirty but other than that, everything was clean!
