Our stay at Cathy and Jono’s property exceeded our expectations. Cathy kept checking in on us while we were still on the way since the weather was not so favourable. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, she had the heater on for us and gave us a guided tour of their stunning house that is beautifully designed and very spacious. Cathy and Jono went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. They were just a text/ phone call away whenever we needed something, and this truly made us feel valued as guests. Thank you for being such incredible hosts Cathy and Jono, this trip will always hold a special place in our hearts because of your warmth and hospitality. We cannot wait for our next visit!

Place was exactly as described. A perfect place to rest a mere 10min drive away from Durban central. WiFi was exhausted on day 1 with my 3 children. I like to try new places. But Matt's place is a safe bet so will probably return. High 5 Matt.

Paul and Lee were quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with, also gave great recommendations to nearby restaurants. The house is so cozy and outdoors beautiful and peaceful, just what we were looking for. Would highly recommend and amazing value for money. Will be back.

We checked in Friday afternoon with my family for the weekend. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house is exactly how it looks as advertised, great view to wake up too and a walkable distance to the beach. The entire house is well furnished with fresh bedding and towels for us to use. Really an enjoyable place to stay at. The hosts were so friendly enough to let us check out abit later. I would highly recommend this place for everyone ( families and friends).

The pictures dont do just to the place,the home is more beautiful than the pics.The host was so warm & welcoming she made sure our stay was very comfortable She went the extra mile as to provide extra pot & actually even buying a bigger pot for us All bathrooms had shower gel provided

This was an absolutely awesome house to stay in. The reason being, it was a home. With all the amenities for a superb stay. The garden and pool area is simply a sight to behold. Susans attention to detail and her ability to guage what we required, her openness, flexibility and kindness was something we were not expecting. This made our stay extraordinary. Jannes place is was perfect for myself and my 4 legged companion. We both felt right at home immediately and Janne was quite quick with responses with the very minor questions I had. Jannes place is definitely something to book if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, well kept space. Definitely keeping this listing on a short list for future Durban visits. Thank you for the stay at your cottage and assistance with the extra fence over the gate it really helped us to relax and feel at home knowing our small dogs could not get out. Our dogs are escape artists. Host is friendly, helpful and attentive. We would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway in the Durban area.

The place is very neat and clean. You literally feel at home.

Ridgetop Cottage was exactly what we needed for short stay. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Fallon was very helpful throughout and we were very grateful that she even let us stay with a stray kitten that we had picked up a few days previously.

This was literally my favorite stay away from home. Sharon and Glen made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The lush gardens left us speechless and my 3 Weimaraners had the time of their lives. Sharon thought of everything, from extra treats for the dogs, to a nice welcome bouquet for the humans. I was a little nervous sharing their dogs space with my 3, but Sharon was a step ahead and planned the whole stay so my dogs had freedom of the entire property. I feel so lucky to have found this incredibly unique, peaceful and welcoming place. We will be back as often as possible! Thank you Sharon, what a beautiful memory you helped us create ❤️

Quiet, private, and spacious place. You can’t beat the freedom you get staying here. The location is a plus if that is the vibe you’re looking for. It even has a terrace! I’d love to come back in the future. Thank you.

The host was very understanding and accommodating to my family and myself when circumstances beyond us hit. That is something no amount of money can cover. The humility and humaneness that of the host will always stand out. The accommodation is simple, clean and offers all the basics for a good stay. We are a family of 4 so the place was adequately sized.

Excellent stay We enjoyed every minute. Perfect hosts and the place was so spacious and peaceful. Will book again definitely.

Trevor ands Andrea were very accomadating and approachable hosts during my stay. The location is lovely, and though a bit chilly at this time of year, plenty was readily available in the house ensure that my stay was a comfortable one! I brought a pet with me on my stay. Though the were not allowed on carpeted areas, my hosts were very considerate and helpful towards ensuring that his little holiday was a comfortable one too. I hope to stay again sometime!

Vanessa’s place was such a pleasant place to stay. The views of the valley were stunning and the open plan downstairs reception rooms were lovely. Bring your own hairdryer as this is not provided but everything else was excellent. Massive oven but you need a light and specs to see the temperature and settings that you select as it is low level and quite small dials. A lovely stay in comfort. Thank you Vanessa.
