Keitele opens on three sides, there is a beautiful, spacious log villa on the peninsula, and another one closer to the beach. The villa has a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a loft, a bathroom, and a sauna. The beach cottage has 1 room and a sauna. The hot tub is available with a separate agreement and weather permitting, a surcharge of 130 €/week. Amenities: electricity, microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, running water from a borehole, fireplace. The place is available from the beginning of October to the middle of December and again from the end of February to the end of April.

A small and modest beach cottage is located about 2 km from the main road, on the border of Pihtipudas and Viitasaari. Enjoy a sauna, a swim and some rest, even if it's just for a stopover, or stay a little longer! You can stay in the loft and in the cabin. Air-source heat pump and fireplace. Wood-fired sauna. Tap water is drinkable. A clean outdoor toilet in an outbuilding, with a new ecological and hygienic flushing toilet seat. You have a gas barbecue and a rowing boat at your disposal. The basic booking includes the making of one double bed for two people.

We'll get everything ready if the reservation comes in on time. Towels and detergents are available. Coffee, filter bags, tea, toilet paper. Potty, high chair, toys. In the bright apartment, you have access to, for example, a kitchen with equipment, a bathroom, internet access and a TV. 1-2 people can easily be accommodated, up to four beds (double bed and fold-out bed). You can park a larger car conveniently in the yard. Good sports facilities and cultural offerings can be found very close by.

A lot is included in the weekly rental price, on weekends for an additional price. A well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. The summer kitchen has a fireplace, a wood-burning stove and a gas burner for a masonry base pan.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation at the tip of your own lake cove and peninsula. Kivijärvi is Finland's 30th largest, largely wilderness and fish-rich lake. Nearby is also Salamajärvi National Park with hiking trails and services of different levels. This small but really functional place for a small family vacation or telecommuting by the beautiful scenery and tranquility. Still, the services are close in two directions, Kivijärvi center about 15 min and Kinnula 20 min.

A rowing boat with a 6 hp motor is included, and a 150 hp boat can be rented with a separate agreement.

Villa Kotiniemi is a wonderful destination for a relaxing cottage holiday, but also for active activities if you wish. In summer, you can go to the lake by rowboat or paddleboard. In summer, Kivijärvi village also has great outdoor activities; a full-length frisbee golf course, a brand new mini-golf course and fitness stairs. For winter holidays, ski trails leave almost from the yard, snowmobile trails 20 m away, and a children's sledding hill with a rope lift 700 m away.
