Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Pigneto, Rome

Such a gem of a place! Location is not too far; accessible by metro and taxi. The host was fantastic. Loved the place and totally worth it!

Great small apartment for two people. A bit out of the way in Rome but we liked getting out of the chaos of the city center after each day. Host was very accommodating and attentive.

Firstly, the hosts were very pleasant, helpful and available for any questions or needs that we had. Helped a lot to make our stay more pleasant. The place itself is very pleasant and in a peaceful, interesting neighborhood, five minutes walk from a subway. Number of small, cozy restaurants with delicious food at very reasonable prices.

This was such a cosy stay. It was decorated so beautifully and the host and his wife were so helpful showing us around, answering our questions, and giving us great local recommendations. Our plane got delayed and we weren't able to arrive until 11 pm, but they waited for us to arrive and showed us around the apartment. It is located right next to a metro bus stop, so it was really easy and cheap to travel into the city center. The restaurant right next door had really great vibes and good food.

I had a wonderful experience here and Fillipo was a great host! He gave local recommendations and we were in contact often about how my trip was going. I felt comfortable to ask him about anything I needed help with. The apartment itself was really cute and cozy, AC was great, and it was very clean. He had everything set up for us like you would see in a hotel and made my stay even better than expected. Honestly, I found this place to be a deal for what you get; the gardens outside are beautiful, it's a 5min walk to the tram/bus station, and is a comfortable size for multiple people. Additionally, being a 21 year girl and having a host that really interacted with me made me feel very safe and comfortable to have someone who was happy to communicate. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay after a hectic day in Rome, definitely don't overlook this!

This place is situated a little far from Rome central but has very reasonable bus/tram connections so getting there isn’t too difficult. The apartment was clean and well described. A comfy bed with an AC unit nearby which is needed as it does get quite hot at night. Our hosts, although we didn’t meet them until the end, were so helpful, communicative and generous. We are not wine drinkers but a bottle was left for us with a note. This would be a nice touch for those after a long day of travelling. Overall a very good experience

The accommodation is exactly as described, Fabio and Virginia are very attentive to their guests, on arrival we found breakfast for the next day which is very nice and everything you need in the bathroom. Fabio and Virginia are extremely responsive in case of problems. We had a great stay and we highly recommend this accommodation.

Nice experience, very well located if you use Roma Pass, because its near of the bus and the tram, you can feel Italy in the apartament, and the hosts are very proactiv and symphatic.

This was perhaps the best stay I've ever had with AirBnB! Mara is absolutely wonderful. The neighborhood is charming and full of great restaurants. Mara was very generous with her recommendations for things to do, places to eat, and more. She is extremely kind and attentive. I highly recommend her apartment to anyone coming to Rome!

Very friendly and helpful throughout our stay

If you are looking to stay in the pigneto neighborhood, Federico’s home is a great choice. Very close to the metro and well connected. There are many restaurants and bars in pigneto with a younger, progressive crowd. The neighborhood is not spotless, there is lots of graffiti and there can be some trash but the neighborhood is very friendly and safe. This is not a primary tourist area and can be a little out of the way for the main tourist Rome attractions, maybe 15 minutes from Roma termini, but very well connected with the C metro and easy to navigate to this apartment. Federico was great, very friendly, and gave the impression of staying in a friend’s spare apartment. We texted him when we arrived, he came outside to greet us right away, showed us around, gave us the key, and would respond immediately to any questions if tested. Recommended stay, thank you Federico.

Even though we only stayed for one night, Tiberio’s home truly left an impression on us. The house is absolutely beautiful! full of charm and very well cared for. Tiberio was incredibly kind and thoughtful, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. A great place to rest between days full of sightseeing and exploring Rome! Takes about 30-40 minutes to get into the main part of the city via bus but if you don’t plan to go back and forth from the place during the day it’s really not a big deal!

Everything about our stay at Marco’s apartment was perfect. We couldn’t think of any way it could have been better. The outdoor shower got lots of use in the very hot weather. We booked this apartment months ago and it was everything we hoped it would be. The only disadvantage for us is that it is a long way from our home in New Zealand but if we ever return to Rome we would love to come back.

The apartment is located in Pigneto, a pleasant district away from the tourist attractions with great bars and restaurants. The apartment has everything you need for a city trip. Recommendation goes out!

We stayed for 3 months in this well located and spacious apartment. The neighborhood is a bit gritty but, at the same time funky, friendly and with all the services you need. When we chose to go into the historic center we found the public transit options varied and easily accessible. The 81 bus was like a hop on hop off tour passing many iconic places like San Giovanni in Laterano, the Coliseum, the Roman Forum and Piazza Venezia among others. We got to know some local shop keepers who were always friendly and helpful. The Pigneto neighborhood features good restaurants, funky coffee bars and a great daily food market. Daniele, 6 time zones away, was proactive in his communications and Flora was very helpful on the local front. The only thing that irked me was the motion sensing lights in the entry and 2 ante rooms which would go on and off again a minute later. There was no override switch for these. Overall a great stay.
