Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Pictou County

We had a great stay at Valerie’s. A perfect location to spend time with friends off the grid. The home is spacious with everything you would need. We had 11 adults there comfortably. Valerie was quick to respond with any questions we had. We hope to be back!

This is our 4th summer staying with Brenda; her space is clean, fully outfitted with everything you need in the kitchen, and the sunset is excellent. Thanks Brenda!

Eigg Mountain was very cozy and welcoming. Many extras and fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the sauna and spacious outdoor area with sliding hills and fire pit. Yummy homemade bread, jam and muffins!

We were so fortunate to spend spring break at Mark's place with our 3 kids. Upon walking in the view of the ocean is breathtaking. Mark has done an impeccable job renovating this place. The kitchen is a dream (hello gas oven ❤️) and the shower is super cool. The basement was perfect for our two older kids to have their own space. We really appreciated all the games and activities he provided - hours of fun just with monopoly and scrabble. That's the thing about this place - being inside it is a vacation in itself. So many touches to this place that make it stand out from the many others we have stayed. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us.

Doug and Sandy have created an exceptional airbnb, and they have thought of everything a guest might need to feel at home. The eat-in kitchen is completely stocked with great utensils, dishes, and pots/pans for cooking, baking and meals. And, lots of extras - books, games, two television, wifi, and more. The hosts did not cut corners on anything you'll find here. From the furniture and decor, to the thick towels, linens and comfortable beds, these hosts have set themselves apart from most airbnb's you'll visit. We took advantage of the world class sweeping water views from our Adirondack chairs on the deck, and loved the fresh air during our coffee time each morning. The sunsets and full moon were gorgeous, and wow, what an incredible stretch of open sky! We saw eagles, Canada Geese, and sea birds throughout our stay. Doug and Sandy have done a super job capturing Nova Scotia's hospitality, style and charm, and we will definitely be back for another visit!

Heidi’s cottage was wonderful. Beautiful location with stunning views from all windows. The cottage itself was clean, very well stocked with everything you’d need and very tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. Highly recommend!

It was super incredible!! Loved it ! Wish we could have stayed longer !! So quiet and beautiful! Ate oysters on the beach ! Never done that before !! So good !! Want to come again!!

Barra Shores is a warm and welcoming getaway for all - it feels like you’re at home during your stay with a beautiful view and privacy. The hot tub, gazebo and outdoor fire pit provides the relaxing atmosphere we were looking for while feeling completely at home. Tiffany is very responsive and a pleasure to deal with - encouraging guests to enjoy everything her place has to offer during their stay. The cottage is amazing, the views are beautiful and the hostess is excellent - this was our second stay and we look forward to the next time - thank you Tiffany!

Great spot to stay. In town for work- good location, close to the hospital and town. Not the most sound proof from the family/kids upstairs but it’s great other than that! Would recommend if you’re looking for a cozy spot to stay.

Super happy we booked our stay it was warm and comfy from the second ya open the front door nice quiet location witch is a huge plus for sleeping! Will for sure be booking again!

Being pet friendly and having a large fenced in area for them to run around in was very nice.

I absolutely loved stay here! I needed some time away from everything to gather my thoughts and this place provided me with the peace I needed to achieve that! The outside hot tub in the middle of all the peace and quiet was exactly what I needed to reach total serenity. Thank you for a wonderful stay I hope to return again!

Brenda’s place was just as described - a comfy cozy cottage. Very clean, modern, aesthetically pleasing and comfortable.

I needed a place to stay before making my way to Cape Breton. This place was perfect for its location and budget. The grounds are beautiful. The setting was really spectacular. A cool running brook right through your yard. Accommodations are minimal, but they make to sure to describe it in full so your are completely informed. I fully recommend. Thank you.
