Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Pickens County

My family and I had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for us, I think our favorite room was the White Sunroom off the kitchen. I could be cooking and the grandbabies were on the floor playing. We did have to move the coffee table into the corner as it was glass but is made ample play area on the floor. We drove to Helen, Dahlonega, Amicolola Falls St Park, Ellijay. We did 3 Wineries, Apple orchard and the kids hiked the community every morning. I don't think we could have squeezed anything else in, in one week. It was an an amazing trip, coming back to the house in the evening was as comfortable as coming home. Thank you for having us. Maria Metzger

Very clean, relaxing! Host was friendly and responded quickly! I thought I was asking to many questions but they answered, quickly and in the most helpful way!

We went to Big Canoe for a wedding and rented Chase's ABB. He was the most gracious host and answered every question I had almost immediately! My cousin stayed in another ABB and complained they had to bring their own toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, etc. Chase's ABB provides everything just like a nice hotel would, but you're in a house that feels like you're home! Sitting on the porch listening to the waterfall was so relaxing. We did a little hike down to check it out, and it had a rock slide. Later, I heard some boys sliding down and yelling happily. I wish I had been able to do it! Maybe next time! Getting ready for the wedding was just like we were at our own home. There really aren't enough positive things I can say about Chase and his ABB!! We had the best time and are already planning to go back!

We were in the area for a family wedding and took advantage of all the bed/baths. We had 3 different generations staying in the home and it was comfortable, with common area but also space to decompress. Back patio has a gorgeous few and the basement had a fun rec room. Comfortable, clean, inviting and enough space for 3 different families to settle in, share meals together and get ready for the family celebrations. The whole family said “great job” on the accommodations!

I came with my family to enjoy thanksgiving in the mountains. This place was beautiful, the house was cozy, and Veronica was SUPER responsive to all questions I had!

The Tallant Treehouse is a beautiful, cozy house with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto picturesque surroundings. We enjoyed the deck, fireplace and hot tub. Mary is a wonderful host. Everything, from check-in to enjoying the local sites to check-out was easy and seamless. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Camp Ingram! The house was the perfect location to spend Thanksgiving with the family—both beautiful and comfortable. Every room was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, and Bob was a fantastic host. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest. We will definitely rebook in the future! Thank you!

Kristen & Mike were fantastic hosts!! From communication prior to arrival to throughout our stay they were always available and super helpful! Mike was able to walk me through getting the fire started in the living room since the pilot light was turned off which was great! They even came up Saturday (an hour drive for them) to help us with a complication with the hot tub (which was truly just due to our own inexperience with hot tubs not an actual malfunction) which was truly going above and beyond! Their home has the perfect layout with a bedroom on every floor with private bathrooms + a half bath off the kitchen area! We loved every space & the beds were SUPER comfy!!! We felt right at home the whole trip and will definitely be coming back!

This is such a hidden gem! We absolutely LOVED this place as it reminded us of our old Airbnb we used to host. Savannah was so friendly and accommodating and the space was way bigger than we expected. This truly is what southern hospitality looks like. STAY HERE, you really won't regret it.

MK was an absolutely amazing host, and the place was everything we could have asked for! MK made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make our birthday weekend feel special. We will be staying here again and would recommend others do so as well if you're looking to stay within the PVR walls.

We loved Center of Gravity as it was within walkable distance to downtown, but also offered easy access to activities, shopping and restaurants by car. The actual apartment was clean and had all the amenities we needed. My son and his daughters came over one night and there was plenty of room to play several board games. I am sure we will stay here again when in Dahlonega.

My wife and I were visiting the area for a wedding and ended our trip in this beautiful home! Mordecai was extremely quick with communication and ensured we had the best trip possible. Wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend if you are visiting the area.

SUCH a beautiful home! We had the most wonderful time. The hosts were super communicative, kind, and helpful. And the home was more beautiful in person!!! Would recommend!!!!

Place was AMAZING. Clean, huge, decorated beautifully, fully stocked coffee bar, so many games (bocce ball and corner hole, tabletop shuffleboard, wall scrabble, every board game you could imagine). Hot tub was clean and already warm. We watched deer in the backyard and saw them (and turkeys) all over Big Canoe. Community is 😍, so much to see inside the gates (trails, wildlife, lake, fishing, golf). Just outside gate we had great pizza at Night Train. Loved Mexican at Fuego. Even though it’s a small town they have no shortage of restaurants. We were five women and we all had our own bedrooms (this place could easily sleep 15). It would be great for large family gatherings. We’ll definitely be back. 5 star all the way. Also…Amicalola is 15-20 minutes away. Don’t miss Gibbs Gardens which is 15 minutes too.

Russell and Paula were by far the friendliest and most responsive hosts we have ever experienced. This house was clean with an amazing view. Great bathrooms with great water pressure which is often iffy on top of a mountain.

The views make this place incredible! The house is older and has mostly new furniture, linens, and is very well stocked. The kitchen and bathrooms reminded us of childhood in the 70s and 80s. I highly recommend this as an awesome and affordable getaway.

I’m going to list both pros & cons to this cabin. I’m purposely not categorizing and I’m mixing them together so that you not only see the negative(s) but the positive(s) as well. - Gorgeous scenery; We were able to see wildlife every day. - Scott & Lisa were great at responding to every message - minor repairs needed. - Scott & Lisa made sure to make this home comfortable for families - including babies/toddlers - all bedrooms were on a different floor - while the driveway is beautiful and well-maintained, it is steep. We traveled in a 2024 front wheel drive Chevy Trax & a 2019 Ram & both vehicles made it up & down w/o issue. - There are so many things to do on the property. - There are no curtains hanging in the bathrooms. While the house is pretty far from the other houses, I could see another house from the master bath. The bathroom on the 2nd floor could easily be seen in from the 2nd floor balcony. This was an amazing home for the weekend. I would 100% stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Sergio’s Airbnb! The home was incredibly nice, clean, and spacious, with cozy decor that perfectly matched the beautiful woodsy, forest aesthetic. Sergio was a fantastic host — he responded quickly and made sure everything went smoothly for us. Everything about our trip felt perfect, and we truly appreciate and love that we chose to stay here. If I had to mention anything, it would just be that the location is a bit far from stores and food options. While it was easy to find, the drive up the mountain had a lot of twists and turns that made it a little challenging. That said, it was absolutely worth it for the peaceful setting and the overall experience. Highly recommend staying here!

We spent 5 weeks at this cozy cabin with our 3 young children while we were selling our own house in town, and we truly felt right at home. We only had one minor issue that was fixed immediately. The hosts were all super kind and responsive. We love Big Canoe and Trevor’s cabin is a gem. It’s deep in Big Canoe, but that means zero traffic noise! So incredibly peaceful, we didn’t want to leave.

We loved this cabin! It was beautiful inside and outside with lots to do. The views were incredible, although the second day there was dense fog so we didn’t see the mountains again until checkout… but that’s just the risk you take with a mountain home so high up in the winter. We still had a wonderful time just cozying up by the fire and the basement ping pong table and arcade table gave my kids hours of entertainment. Highly recommend!
