Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Pickens County

My family and I had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for us, I think our favorite room was the White Sunroom off the kitchen. I could be cooking and the grandbabies were on the floor playing. We did have to move the coffee table into the corner as it was glass but is made ample play area on the floor. We drove to Helen, Dahlonega, Amicolola Falls St Park, Ellijay. We did 3 Wineries, Apple orchard and the kids hiked the community every morning. I don't think we could have squeezed anything else in, in one week. It was an an amazing trip, coming back to the house in the evening was as comfortable as coming home. Thank you for having us. Maria Metzger

Claudia and Joaquin were wonderful. Had 10 people staying for a wedding. People coming and going all weekend. Place was great and our hosts could not have been more helpful in getting people and their cars registered with security gate. Claudia and Joaquin were unobtrusive but available by email or phone instantly. Would not hesitate to book this property again or recommend it to friends. A wonderful property for a getaway and a wonderful host.

We were in the area for a family wedding and took advantage of all the bed/baths. We had 3 different generations staying in the home and it was comfortable, with common area but also space to decompress. Back patio has a gorgeous few and the basement had a fun rec room. Comfortable, clean, inviting and enough space for 3 different families to settle in, share meals together and get ready for the family celebrations. The whole family said “great job” on the accommodations!

We went to Big Canoe for a wedding and rented Chase's ABB. He was the most gracious host and answered every question I had almost immediately! My cousin stayed in another ABB and complained they had to bring their own toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, etc. Chase's ABB provides everything just like a nice hotel would, but you're in a house that feels like you're home! Sitting on the porch listening to the waterfall was so relaxing. We did a little hike down to check it out, and it had a rock slide. Later, I heard some boys sliding down and yelling happily. I wish I had been able to do it! Maybe next time! Getting ready for the wedding was just like we were at our own home. There really aren't enough positive things I can say about Chase and his ABB!! We had the best time and are already planning to go back!

Wonderful multilevel home for an extended family trip. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the pool table and dart set was a nice addition for family fun. We enjoyed eating out in the screened in porch.

It was a lovely quick getaway from Atlanta. So peaceful and quiet in the community of Big Canoe. We played 9 holes on the Cherokee golf course which was pristine and had some magnificent views. We ate at a local restaurant "Home" in Marble Hill that was recommended by Brian. The meal was outstanding. The home was nestled among trees and we felt like we were in a tree house. Would definitely recommend.

This home exceeded our expectations! We stayed here for our wedding weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. The views are stunning, the cabin is cozy, and the kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. Mary was very responsive and answered any questions we had and the check in process was easy. The roads up to the cabin are extremely steep, just something to be prepared for but did not impact our stay at all. Would definitely stay here again!

Kristen & Mike were fantastic hosts!! From communication prior to arrival to throughout our stay they were always available and super helpful! Mike was able to walk me through getting the fire started in the living room since the pilot light was turned off which was great! They even came up Saturday (an hour drive for them) to help us with a complication with the hot tub (which was truly just due to our own inexperience with hot tubs not an actual malfunction) which was truly going above and beyond! Their home has the perfect layout with a bedroom on every floor with private bathrooms + a half bath off the kitchen area! We loved every space & the beds were SUPER comfy!!! We felt right at home the whole trip and will definitely be coming back!

My girlfriend and I went on a Georgia get away and stayed at this amazing place for three nights. It was wonderful. The family that lived there was extremely friendly and welcoming while still respecting our privacy. The house sits beautifully on a gorgeous mountain that was close to great hikes with amazing views and not too far from downtown Ellijay. Overall it was an amazing trip due to this beautiful spot friendly host and sweet city.

Everything you would want at a home and more! Maryland took in mind every detail while creating the perfect hosting spot. We needed nothing, everything needed was in the home! By far the best home we've stayed in and host! Super friendly and her place was super clean and quiet. Definitely a place worth booking of you're looking to get away and experience relaxation and all the amenities this place has to offer.

MK was an absolutely amazing host, and the place was everything we could have asked for! MK made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make our birthday weekend feel special. We will be staying here again and would recommend others do so as well if you're looking to stay within the PVR walls.

My wife and I felt at home the moment we walked in. Comfortable, cozy and the location is amazing. The ability to walk throughout town and appreciate the local surroundings is wonderful. Thank you to Cynthia and Rose for hosting us.

Clean and easy stay!

Great Choice for a quick weekend getaway! Daniel was great and very accommodating and gave us great recommendations. We enjoyed the peace and quietness of the area, it was so relaxing listening to the waterfall at night and in the morning as we drank coffee and enjoyed the scenery. Thank you for everything we will be returning soon!

Had some issues to start, but have to say Holly was absolutely amazing with communication and fixing the problems. I was very impressed with how proactive she was and helpful and even gave great local suggestions.

Fantastic stay in Big Canoe - great for kids of all ages, we had kiddos 2.5 - 12 and there was something for everyone. Tons of games all throughout the house - so lots to do. Just a short drive to the Beach club. Fully stocked (and labelled!) kitchen made it a breeze to cook. Hosts were responsive and helpful. Great stay - would absolutely stay here again.

The view was amazing!!!!! The hosts have great communication skills. They were very attentive. The home is exactly as pictured. This home had everything my family and I needed. It was the perfect getaway!!! Very spacious.

A fantastic weekend getaway and definitely would recommend to anyone! The place was extremely clean, and had great amenities! The bed was comfortable and couch was a great spot for an afternoon nap! We really enjoyed the nice grill and full kitchen! Host was very friendly and ensured we had a great experience!

The views make this place incredible! The house is older and has mostly new furniture, linens, and is very well stocked. The kitchen and bathrooms reminded us of childhood in the 70s and 80s. I highly recommend this as an awesome and affordable getaway.

I’m going to list both pros & cons to this cabin. I’m purposely not categorizing and I’m mixing them together so that you not only see the negative(s) but the positive(s) as well. - Gorgeous scenery; We were able to see wildlife every day. - Scott & Lisa were great at responding to every message - minor repairs needed. - Scott & Lisa made sure to make this home comfortable for families - including babies/toddlers - all bedrooms were on a different floor - while the driveway is beautiful and well-maintained, it is steep. We traveled in a 2024 front wheel drive Chevy Trax & a 2019 Ram & both vehicles made it up & down w/o issue. - There are so many things to do on the property. - There are no curtains hanging in the bathrooms. While the house is pretty far from the other houses, I could see another house from the master bath. The bathroom on the 2nd floor could easily be seen in from the 2nd floor balcony. This was an amazing home for the weekend. I would 100% stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Sergio’s Airbnb! The home was incredibly nice, clean, and spacious, with cozy decor that perfectly matched the beautiful woodsy, forest aesthetic. Sergio was a fantastic host — he responded quickly and made sure everything went smoothly for us. Everything about our trip felt perfect, and we truly appreciate and love that we chose to stay here. If I had to mention anything, it would just be that the location is a bit far from stores and food options. While it was easy to find, the drive up the mountain had a lot of twists and turns that made it a little challenging. That said, it was absolutely worth it for the peaceful setting and the overall experience. Highly recommend staying here!
