We really enjoyed having a quiet place to unwind after busy days of touring the Badlands and Black Hills! Centralized for both locations(an hour drive from Mount Rushmore). Older farmhouse, yet met our needs! Enjoyed a little chat Marv and Norma!! Would definitely choose this place again!

This is a cozy but roomy and home-decorated cabin in the heart of the South Dakota grassland prarie. During the day the tall dry straw grass bends and waves in the wind and at night the Milky Way galaxy stretches overhead across the black sky all the way to the horizon. It is quiet and isolated yet within easy driving distance to the Badlands National Park. Lydy is a fantastic host -- waited for us to arrive late in the evening and personally showed us the property.

Great place to stay. Lucy was a great host and communicated very well. Highly recommended.

We all really enjoyed our stay at the bunkhouse. The view, hospitality and all the animals were top notch. Breakfast was delicious and Phil & Amy were so friendly and welcoming. The only somewhat negative comment I have is that the address listed in the Air BnB app says it's in Scenic but it's really in Interior. There was a little confusion with that but they did give very good directions via messages. Other than that, I can not say enough great things about this place. Thank you for all the memories!

This was our second stay at the tiny house. The location is perfect for travelers and provided a quiet, comfortable night after a long day on the road. Very homey and relaxing. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay when visiting the Badlands. The set up was as described and our kids enjoyed helping with the baby goats. Heidi does a great job with directions, just make sure to put on in the name of the campground not the address. She does explain this, but when traveling and having many stops it's easy to skim directions and use the address. The cabin was perfect for our stay!

I stayed here during the week, just off season. It was a perfect, comfortable, quiet place to be off the road for a working day. Everything I needed. I bet it’s a bit more hoppin’ on weekends and at height of summer! I was sorry to miss the food truck’s opening day. It’s walkable to food and stores and a short drive to a local laundromat l.

This cabin-style motel stay exceeded my expectations! The host was incredibly responsive and flexible with my delayed arrival, which I really appreciated. The space truly felt like a cozy cabin. The location was excellent—right down the street from Wall Drug and conveniently close to the Badlands and other attractions. It was also very quiet, perfect for a restful stay. A standout moment was when they called after I had left to let me know I forgot my Kindle—such thoughtful service! One thing to note: if you book through Airbnb, you’ll need to pay the $75 deposit upon arrival. Overall, it was a great stay, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area!

Was a good resting place, extra points for literally being next to a restaurant/bar. And if you are moving cross-country, they have good parking too! Walkable distance to Wall drug as well.
