The Art House

Welcome to the Art House - a petite, quirky space up a steep driveway. Strategic location - 4 minute drive down to Petone Station where there is free parking, jump on a train for a 12 minute trip to Wellington. Jackson Street (6 minute drive) has more than than 60 restaurants, bars and cafés. From here it is a 15 - 20 minute drive to ferry terminals and CBD. There is no kitchen, just a microwave, kettle/jug and bar fridge. We live above the unit so there is noise from time to time.

The place has a lot of character and has been one of the more unique places I've stayed. If you're looking for a peaceful place with lots to do nearby, look no further! We were visiting family and new born grandchild and had to change arrival day which Esther made so easy for us. The place was very comfortable with everything we needed and perfect for a base, handy to walks plus Hutt services. Nice big bed and good heating. Would stay again.

I had a great stay at Kate and Matt's place, it was perfect for a 4 day business trip, easy to come and go plenty of street parking. Good communication and friendly to talk to.
