We loved our stay at Zael's cottage!! The cottage was clean, spacious, and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to make meals. The beds were AMAZING; we've never slept so well on vacation! The location was close to lots of local hiking despite the cottage being on an easily accessible and quiet road. Zael was an A+ host who recommended nearby spots and was impressively responsive. He was flexible with our checkout time, and made us feel like we were at home throughout our stay. We would love to stay at one of his cottages in the future!!

Katie and Craig's place was nothing short of impeccable. We were a family of 6 with 2 small kids and this place really felt so comfortable and cozy, that we definitely decided to make it our annual getaway. As hosts, Craig and Katie were so easy and friendly to communicate with. We missed a few things to grab from the store, but Katie was able to arrange to get us these items, which were much appreciative. The cabin is located in such a serene and spectacular location. The boat ride to and from the cabin was an experience in itself and whilst we were at the cabin there were plenty of games for the kids to be entertained with, a peaceful hammock which I personally slept on for the 2 afternoons we spent there, and finally the hot tub, canoes and peddle boats. This is a gem of a place with excellent amenities. 5 stars do not do this place justice honestly. It's 7 stars for sure!

It was a great Experience that we visited this nice cottage. Clean neat perfect place for a family with lots of amenities. No one will regret choosing this place as their vacation home. The host is very responsive and never gets late for whatever you need.

Robin’s cottage is by far one of my favorite places so far. They thought of everything. We spent a few days for a work retreat and had all we needed to make the week unforgettable. The views in the morning, the sunsets in the evening, fireplace right by the water, paddle boards, full kitchen… the list goes on. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. I am definitely going back!

We stayed at the North COTTAGE for a ladies work trip to Peterborough. Everything was as listed, and this was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I have stayed in! We really loved the coffee bar, and the morning view was beautiful. The hot tub and pool were very clean and great to use after a long day of training. Thanks for a pleasant stay, Mike!

Beautiful spot! Our group of 2 families with children/ teens enjoyed the lovely surroundings - including hot tub, fire pit and kayaks - as well as the indoor games and activities - ping pong, pool etc. Kids had so much to do that parents could just relax and enjoy!

(This review was written by my wife, Tami) As we drove up the secluded lane that led into the enchanted forest we knew that we had found a gem.The cottage was charming & spotless with a huge deck that set high up in the trees. The sauna & hot tub provided pure relaxation at the end of our days. The dock was huge with comfortable seating, we even had 2 loons gliding by each day! We hiked to waterfalls, fished & took the canoe for a paddle. Our pups loved our daily adventures! Mark was the perfect host & easy to contact if needed. We absolutely fell in love with Ken’s cottage on Stoney Lake. The cottage was cozy and clean and well cared for. We love that the cottage opens right onto a dock. It feels like you’re on a houseboat! Despite there being cottages nearby it was so quiet and we also loved using the canoe he provided to explore the lake. Our favourite part by far was the private Nordic spa. It was so relaxing and peaceful to have this private space to relax in a stunning natural setting. The neighbours we met were very warm and we also love the nearby communities. It’s close to Lakefield for ammenities and small town charm. We love the care that Ken has put into this unique experience and we plan on coming back twice a year to recharge and reconnect with nature and ourselves. We will also be referring family and friends. Thanks Ken for letting us use your little slice of paradise.

Great place to stay while working in the area!

We loved staying at the Hello Sunshine cottage! The place was clean, comfortable, and immediately felt like our own little home away from home. The place feels private, the view is stunning, and it was a breath of fresh air to unplug from technology during our stay. The sunroom was perfect for completing puzzles during the day and the backyard was well equipped to enjoy a peaceful fire at night. Alanna was a great host and was very quick to communicate with us whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying at Hello Sunshine, and will definitely be booking again!

PJ was a great host. We really enjoyed our time, and the fishing in the area. Great spot for a good weekends away from home. The only two issues we ran into during our stay was the kitchen tap had very little water pressure, making washing dishes a little difficult. We also ran out of propane and realized the second tank, was also empty. We did go out and purchase one to use but took it home with us. Otherwise, we had a great stay and enjoyed the place.

Bright, spacious cottage with every comfort you need. The location was great, not too far from hikes and attractions but located on a very quiet street. Loved the wood stove and used every day. The host proactively arranged plow services as there was lots of snow the weekend we stayed, which was a really nice gesture. Would definitely return!

This was my second stay at Stephen’s place and it did not disappoint yet again! This was the perfect cabin getaway, complete with a very clean, beautiful and cozy cottage paired with so much to enjoy outside and on the water. We cannot say enough positive things about our stay and how great of a host Stephen always is!! Would definitely recommend, and I look forward to another visit in the future!

The cottage was nice, clean and quiet, easy to find and close enough to town (Lakefield) to secure any items we forgot, and a Tim's for those who can't go without. The waterway was quiet out to the larger lake area, easy enough to paddleboard or row out to. Plenty of fish off the dock if that is your go to. Not sure if it was just the season, but no mosquito bites at all, and with no bug spray on.. maybe we got lucky. Sean was easy and pleasant to communicate with, no issues at all during our stay.

This place was absolutely amazing! So peaceful and close to nature. It felt like a perfect escape from the city. The space was spotless and well-maintained, and everything we needed was nearby. The view alone made the stay totally worth it. It truly felt like home, and I would definitely love to visit again. Highly recommended!

The host was very responsive and answers all our questions well. The self-checkin instruction was very clear. We also had an early check-in at 12 PM, which was very convenient for our trip. The place has a great view and very stylish furnitures. We enjoyed the dock and sitting near the campfire.

We had a wonderful time at Verena's place. The cottage is very well organized, everything was easy to find. The outdoor space is fantastic, it is properly designed for long days (and evenings) staying outside. We spent a long Week-end with our family and friends, and we had a wonderful time.

The cottage was the perfect and peaceful getaway with all the amenities we expected. Andrew was very welcoming, communicative, and responsive before and after our stay. We were able to enjoy the property to the fullest extent and was an ideal place to re-set before the end of summer.

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at Maya’s place! Unfortunately we got hit with some rainy weather, but we were truly able to make the best out of the weekend and got to spend time on the lake which was amazing! The cottage comfortably slept all of our guests, as we did have a larger group staying at the cottage. The cottage itself was beautiful and everyone only had good things to say about their experience this weekend!

I recently stayed at Ben’s charming cottage near the lake, and it was a fantastic experience. The property offered stunning lake views and a relaxing atmosphere that made our stay truly enjoyable. Ben was exceptionally helpful and responsive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. The cottage came with a kayak and a canoe, which provided us with hours of fun on the water. Additionally, the games room was a great bonus, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a peaceful and entertaining getaway.
