Barn accommodation in Perth and Kinross

Had a fantastic get away with friends here. Kids loved it and would recommend to others to stay

We stayed for the weekend and found the cottage to be homely, situated far from other buildings (there were no other visitors at the time in the other accommodation) in a beautiful surroundings with stunning views and well supplied. There was a coal-fuelled fireplace which we enjoyed very much in the evenings, and the heating was automatic (almost too hot in the mornings). Well equipped kitchen with utensils, pots and pans, a welcome gift of shortbread and tea. We do agree with previous comments regarding the cleanliness, but we understand the place is not being used regularly at this time of the year. The place is also a little more dated than the photos would suggest, although it is well-maintained and this did not take away from our comfort. Overall, a lovely stay and a great value for money - we would book again.

It was a beautiful barn converted house - loved our stay, it’s a wee bit remote but the experience was worth it, make sure you carry food with you, we had to drive about 10 miles to get groceries / food

A really nice cottage, out of the way but close enough to all the tourist areas. Easy friendly booking. Probably the hottest day in the year so far, but we had to light the fire for the ambiance at night. Recommended

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The cottage itself was perfect. An upside house which was even better than the photos suggested. It was comfortable and well kitted out. The kitchen and lounge set up was excellent. The bedrooms and bathrooms were ideal for our party. The farm was an amazing place - peacocks, geese, ducks and hens wandering around the pond and grounds. We loved the bistro and shop. They added an extra and welcome dimension to our stay. The whole experience could not be faulted.

We loved staying here. the location was ideal - beautiful surroundings, private, but a quick walk into the town. the property has everything we could need sand was beautifully fitted out with all modcons. Would definitely stay again or recommend to others.

We had a wonderful family celebration at The Maltings in March. The property is beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need. It is light and spacious with very comfy beds and quality bed linen. Pitlessie is an ideal base to explore all corners of Fife and beyond. James was very helpful and replied to any queries I had in record time! We would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you so much for a memorable stay.

It was an amazing stay, we loved very much. Everything was there. Very clean and spacious house and also great locations, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We had a really nice walk everyday. We love to come back again .

Had a great time at Stewart's. The house is in a great location right in the heart of Falkland. Stewart was a fantastic host, very quick to communicate and gave us some nice walking recommendations on arrival. My partner and I were staying there with our 7 month old son, and Stewart very kindly put out a high chair and travel cot for us too! Everything in the house worked well, with a lovely kitchen/lounge space upstairs. The outdoor patio is a great sun trap in the summer. Would highly recommend!

Tony's place is LOVELY. The outlook takes your breath away - imagine looking over a valley of farmland green paddocks with sheep. Also saw pheasants and rabbits. Tony's welcoming committee of Doris (dog 1), Hamish (dog 2) and Charlie (cat) were all very well behaved. Tony puts on a great cooked breakfast as well as juices, coffees and cereals. If we are able in the future we will be back (we are from Australia so distance is an issue).

It was a pleasure to stay at Tony's place, you can tell he puts in a lot of care to making his guests feel at home Breakfast was one of the best I've had at an Airbnb, freshly made by Tony (including gorgeous veggie haggis) The cabin room was clean, a blend of traditional and modern, very cool. Bed was super comfy, and I overslept with no regrets! Tony was also available for a chat over breakfast and he is a really interesting person, with excellent recommendations for making the most of the local area.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The home is incredibly spacious and very clean. We stayed for my 40th birthday and the owners popped a birthday banner up for me and left me chocolates, prosecco, and a birthday card. They checked in frequently to ensure we were enjoying our stay, but otherwise they respected our privacy and left us to it. We loved the quirkiness of the space, and the hot tub was incredible. We plan to return and would recommend this place to anyone. Just book it! :)

A lovely, spacious family home on a farm and well equipped with everything you need. We were a party of 10; 5 adults, 5 children aged 12 to 0 and they all loved the place. Lots of space and set in a great location; the children loved paying around the farm and the walks to the loch. Plenty of space in the house for relaxing and we had a gathering of our local family on Easter Sunday and there was plenty of room both inside and outside the house. Fiona was a great host and met all our requests. I would have no hesitation in recommending this house and would be very happy to stay here the next time we are visiting the area. A great house for our family Easter holiday.

From start to finish, our break to The Old Barn was an absolute delight. I booked this accommodation, because the photos looked amazing and it was even better in real life. The Old Barn was tastefully decorated and everything in it was in excellent, clean condition. It was also very well equipped and as I like cooking our own meals, it made everything so easy for me. The view was picture postcard perfect and it was so relaxing looking out over the lake. I have never seen so many barn swallows before and adored watching them do their acrobatic twists and turns right in front of the property. The best animal by far though, was the owners Golden Retriever, Bertie. What an absolutely adorable boy he was, so friendly and sociable. He even joined my husband and our Border Collie for a walk. Although we didn't get to meet Laura, Ronnie was an amazing host and nothing was too much for him. He made us feel so welcome and at home. I was looking for a quiet break and this was perfect.

A lovely set of cottages - great facilities, very clean and has everything you need. Really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back. The views were incredible!
