Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Perquimans County

It has been great to stay with William and Julia. They are very cordial and kind people whom we met . The place is so nice and peaceful. Most of the days were passed by absorbing the serene nature and gazing at the waves. It was a beautiful stay. We would love to come back again.

Aaron was a great host that was very responsive from booking to check out. He went above and beyond to meet our specific needs. The home was very beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The backyard yard set up was spectacular and met our needs as a large family. We will definitely be staying at the property during future visits and thank you again Aaron for all of your support throughout our visit.

You can’t experience this area in a more beautiful location. The rooms were comfortable with so many lovely and unique touches. The view off the balcony was stunning. The property has so much to offer and do, just right there! The hosts were fabulous. Responsive, friendly and welcoming. We are looking forward to our next visit and plan on making it longer!

We had a great stay in my hometown for a family reunion and were fortunate enough to find this hidden gem. The views were beautiful, and the house was nicely updated with a clean, modern feel. I actually grew up not far from here and had no idea this place even existed! We drove in from Texas with two kids under 10, so it was especially refreshing to arrive at such a beautiful, peaceful home. The space was perfect for our family of six comfortable, spacious, and welcoming. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. This will definitely be our go-to spot anytime we’re back in the area. Highly recommend!

Very quiet and peaceful area. They were very responsive to messages. This is an older home that has been upgraded and very clean. We needed a place to lay our heads after a long day at the Black Bear festival in Plymouth and then went to listen to The Daniel Jordan Band that night right there in Hertford. They do have a grill there for you to use and even provided charcoal so that was a nice surprise because it wasn’t in the pictures. We grilled some steaks before going to listen to the band.

The rental was very spacious and clean. We did not have any issues but the host was very fast at replying to any questions we had. Great location in historical part of Elizabeth City. We came in for a funeral and it was wonderful to have a place for family to gather.

We loved our stay at Karen’s place. The apartment is very comfortable, and the views are spectacular. I wish we had more time to enjoy the offerings. We hope to come back again!

Robert did a great job at communicating the location. We were anywhere between 30-60 min from all the places we wanted to visit in OBX. The residence was clean and quiet. It was a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of OBX.

The perfect spot for a quick stay in Elizabeth City. The place was clean, quiet & cozy. I appreciated that all the light switches were labeled, a little detail that I wish more places had. It was easy to find & the check in/out instructions were very clear.

I’d give it “Three C’s”: Clean, Cute, Cozy. Attention to detail & pet friendly, the enclosed space protects the dogs until you’re ready to leave the gated enclosure. Oh, the welcome basket is delightful, healthy snacks & wine; which soothes the weary travelers. The kitchen rack for drying dishes is creative & sanitary-great idea! Good location for overnight accommodations. I’d recommend Anne’s place!

Great place and location. Very nicely decorated space that was relaxing and clean. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable bed. The welcome bottle of wine was a nice surprise as we arrived after a long drive and enjoyed a glass before walking to dinner in town. We would stay here again and recommend to others. Anne and Carlos were incredibly responsive and attentive hosts, especially with helping us store our bikes. Their place was charming and the kitchen was well stocked!

Easy to check in and very clean, looked jsut like the pictures.

If you’re looking to get away and unplug and just listen to the sound of the water and relax, this is the perfect place. it’s very remote. The view on the dock and the deck is amazing and surreal. A perfect place for a getaway to recharge. Only suggestion is to do your shopping for the house before you go to the property as it is a little distance from everything. But overall, an amazing place would definitely book again.

We loved this beautiful home! Beautifully decorated-calm vibe. So cozy and comfortable. I’m also an Airbnb host and I can tell you this space is wonderful! Well worth the price point! Don’t miss out on the fire pit. Something about a fire with your family by the water…it’s truly magical. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed. Kathy is kind and accommodating. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. Can’t say enough. 10/10.

Wished we had time to stay longer! We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet! The cabin was clean and cozy and we definitely look forward to another stay!

Our 3-night stay at Legacy Lodge Bunkhouse in Windsor, NC, was a delightful escape to celebrate my wife’s and son’s birthdays. The bunkhouse kept our two kids entertained with games, toys, an air hockey table, and bunk beds our son adored. Outside, a mini paradise awaited: multiple fire pits (unlimited wood for $30, highly recommended), play areas, and a covered concrete space perfect for rollerblading and scootering. We enjoyed the wood-fired pizza oven and grilled steaks, though the propane grill needs a deep clean. The thoughtful birthday gifts and decorations for our son, plus a “Honk, it’s my birthday!” sign by host Deena (explaining the passing cars’ honks), added such a warm touch. This peaceful retreat is ideal for families or anyone seeking serenity. We’d absolutely recommend it!

Dragon and his property are truly unique. He provided not just one, but two personal numbers as soon as the booking was confirmed! Despite my late arrival due to a nasty storm, he stayed up to ensure I arrived safely. He encouraged me to relax and not to worry about a specific checkout time. While the cabin is simple, it provides a safe and dry shelter for sleep. The grounds are free for guests to enjoy as they wish. I enjoyed my morning as I played some music and cooked breakfast on the provided stove. As the sun rose and the birds sang. Although I brought everything one could need. There is plenty provided for such a reasonable price. Dragon's property, though simple, felt like a haven. From the moment I arrived, to the moment I left, I felt at peace.
