Our gite is less than 500m from the Bort les Orgues lake on the River Dordogne. You can enjoy your stay in the middle of nature and all the activities we have to offer. Cycling, kayaks (for hire), fishing, swimming, hiking/walking (there are more than 50km of walking routes departing from the gite.) Close to La Bourboule, Le Sancy and the chain of volcanoes.

In Châteauneuf-Les-Bains on the banks of the Sioule, one of the cleanest rivers in France, is our Gite de Grands Rochers. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Here is peace and space with a nice view over the river. The cottage is 32 m2, divided over two floors. Downstairs the kitchen with dining area and a seating area with comfortable chairs and TV, French doors to a lovely terrace with stone BBQ. Above the bedroom and bathroom with toilet.

You will be seduced by its location at the end of a cul-de-sac which makes it a peaceful place close to nature, by its many terraces which will allow you to enjoy the shade or the sun depending on your mood, and by its geographical location in the heart of the Chaîne des Puys and very close to the Massif du Sancy, Clermont-Ferrand and the Zenith. Perfect for a family (except with small children) or for hikers.

Solid construction in lava stone (more than 200 m2 habitable), it will offer you a breathtaking view of the chain of puys and the puy of domes, you will be in the heart of volcanoes, lakes and forests. You will particularly enjoy walking in the heart of the Puys chain and swimming in the many surrounding lakes. Also possible to spend a day fishing (or relaxing) by privatizing the little helmsman (boat) floating on the dam 5 minutes away.
