fantastic place.. kids 11,9,5 loved trampoline, ropes course, swing and heated pool (which is alarmed so provided peace of mind) steep stairs to 2 bedrooms on lower floor where older kids slept. 5yr old and us slept in two bedrooms on ground floor with kitchen, lounge, dining etc. BBQs every day by pool. very private yet 5 min bike ride into village (although hill on way back - our 5 year old managed it but had to walk). great sports park in town with pump track, football pitches, tennis courts, basketball and crazy golf (all free but take equipment) and pop up bar! kids insisted on going back daily! good kid friendly pizza restaurant, pharmacy, bank, post office, minimarket amazing boulangerie, market with local produce on Mondays all in town. recommend flat traffic free cycle ride from Le Bugue to Limeuil (6km) on velo verte along valzere river (fab market on Tuesday in le Bugue). also amazing day kayaking down Dordogne (aquafun in limeuil) host v responsive and place immacate

Beautiful house, with an absolutely therific garden and a proper pool. The value is extremely good for the price!

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this place is. It is bigger and grander than it looks in the photos and the view is stunning! It has lots of gorgeous bedrooms and we enjoyed having big meals in the dining room. The house is located on top of a hill with a view of the Dordogne River and very close to beautiful villages, caves, and nature.

L’extérieur est top ! en pleine nature pour profiter pleinement de ce qui nous entourent. La piscine c’est le +. Merci à Mahil pour son accueil et sa flexibilité.

Beautiful house and pool gite. Everything that you needed inside amd outside the house plus lots of extras, like dishwasher tablets. Beautiful surrounding area and great local town (Lalinde) with good restaurants and cafes. There was a market on Thursday which was good. Great host who was very helpful and responsive to our needs. Would love to come and stay again next year.

We had such an amazing stay at Cassandra's beautiful chateau!!! Fantastic space with gym and beautiful gardens and so peaceful. Such a magical region. Cassandra and her housekeeper Martina were amazing and very helpful. Our entire stay felt like we were in a fairy tale. :) Would definitely come back!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. La maison correspond en tout point à la description : très spacieuse, bien équipée et idéalement située dans un environnement calme. La grande piscine chauffée a été un vrai plus que nous avons tous adoré. Thierry a fait preuve d’une grande disponibilité et d’une réelle attention tout au long de notre séjour. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésitation !!!

Sentiliano was a great host, very protective and responsive. we were delayed on arrival and the host met us late into the evening and had supplied pizzas and beers as we were late. The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood with nice interior. The garden is beautifully landscaped with so many areas to relax. The pool is so lovely, clean and with the waterfalls is both relaxing and great fun to splash under. We walked into and back to Périgueux that took around 30-40mins. It’s a pleasant walk and the market on Wednesday and Saturday was great with local produce and a nice buzz. Périgueux is a beautiful place and we ate out and got coffee numerous times. There is an Artisan boulangerie and Intermarche 5mins drive which is very useful to pick up food etc.

This fabulous old manoir has been so beautifully renovated! It still very much holds it's original charm, while there is everything available you could need for a family holiday. They seem to have thought of everything! We had a magnificent week looking out onto spring blossoms and green pastures. Our children had the best time in the heated pool and playing ping- pong. Fabienne welcomed us and was very helpful and available locally. Guillaume is a friendly and responsive host who made the whole booking process very efficient. Many thanks for this fantastic holiday. Obviously we would love to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Cinq Arches. The house and pool were wonderful for our family of six , large living area and kitchen all very well equipped and good Wi-Fi. The bedrooms worked really well and each room had an en suite, and the beds were very comfy. It was also very hot while we were there but the house stayed cool and every bedroom had big fans. We were also very well looked after by Paul and Sarah, who met us when we arrived and were able to make some excellent recommendations for days out/local restaurants. On their recommendation we had a wonderful day out on the Dordogne in canoes with the whole family and also a fantastic meal in Monpazier. It was also perfectly located to walk to the bakery/patisserie every morning (absolutely amazing!) and also a good size supermarket 5 mins down the road. As an added bonus you could launch a kayak onto the Dordogne from the end of the garden! All in all a beautiful property in a perfect location with lovey hosts!!

Marie Laure’s house is stunning. The photos don’t do it justice. We felt immediately at home. It has a very spacious living room and kitchen which are extremely well equipped. The bedrooms are all en-suite. The house is set among the vineyards and is very peaceful. We really enjoyed the salt water pool. Sadly we only spent 3 days there but we will definitely be back for longer next year.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Sandrine. La maison est très bien équipée et décorée avec goût. Tout est pensé pour passer un super séjour (piscine, jeux, vélos, barbecue...) Nous avons apprécié les petites attentions laissées par l'hôte (petites confitures maison, cafés, thés...). L'emplacement à proximité de Périgueux et des attractions touristiques est un plus. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous ! Merci !

Seven adults and two small children enjoyed Gwen’s property. We all had a super time, everything was as described, clean, and worked. It felt like considerable effort had gone into anticipating the clients needs & these were more than met, which doesn’t happen often. We would highly recommend Gwen’s property, we had no issues, loved the pool & the view was spectacular. We had a great, relaxing family holiday.

Week-end en famille pour le pont du 1er mai à quelques minutes de Périgueux. Ideal ! Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et la maison est vraiment très accueillante. Je vous recommande vivement ce petit bijou sans vis à vis avec une vue magnifique. La climatisation est le petit plus parfait.

Had a lovely two weeks, very family friendly with a big, deep pool. Relaxing and fun, the BBQ and large shaded table outside the kitchen was great for meals. Also strong and reliable WiFi ! We also appreciated being able to bring our lovely dog who is very much part of the family.

A lovely stay, lovely pool and very clean. Lovely location with secret gardens placed all around the village. Lovely informative host that’s lives next door for any information or restaurants you need to book, who also delivered some groceries to us. Worth siting outside in the front garden looking up to the stars at night.

Alison’s and Andre’s jewel in beautiful Dordogne valley is the absolute winner when booking the perfect peaceful place to holiday in France. You can take a walk in nearby village or walk In nearby Forrest. Stargazing at the private pool, visit Limeuil to kayak the river. Or just take a deep breath in peaceful and relaxing nature while getting some tan after a swim in the pool. Alison and Andre are super friendly always happy to chat or check if you are ok. Super hosts. And not to forget the four legged Johnny the dog and two cats. Johnny will definitely steel your heart. If you are lucky like us, Alison and Andre will let you to take him for a walk. After pool, time with Jonny was our daughter second favourite thing!! There are so many great things to do or place to visit. So Looking back at our holiday photos, we were again lucky and we need to say - A bientot belle France and thank you Alison, Andre and Johnny for beautiful memories.

We spent 10 wonderful days at Françoise's house and enjoyed every minute of it. We had the perfect family holiday break in her cosy country house. The calm and peaceful surroundings made it even more magical — it was so quiet that we could spot rabbits and deer in the garden! It was the perfect place to start exploring the beautiful Vallée de la Vézère. Françoise was incredibly helpful and a thoughtful host, which made our stay even more special. We felt completely at home and recharged our batteries in this little haven. We can only recommend staying there. Again, thank you so much for this unforgettable stay! 🫶🏻
