This place was conveniently located; within a 10 min walk to the beach and bus stop, and 15 mins walk to the supermarket. The property was well laid out and the bedrooms were all good sized double rooms, each with air conditioning. The lounge area was open planned and a good kitchen area with all the basics you would need. The shower rooms were spacious. The biggest plus was the hosts who were welcoming and easily reachable. We had a few very minor issues and each time we contacted them they responded immediately, no matter how trivial the issue. We had a lovely long stay here and enjoyed the laidback and friendly atmosphere of the island. A welcome change from the cold and grey of London - thank you!

I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described-clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with everything I needed. The location was perfect, and the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I truly felt at home during my time here. I'll definitely be coming back on my next visit—highly recommended!

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

We had an amazing stay at Jean’s villa in Mauritius! The house is stunning – modern, spacious, and incredibly welcoming, offering everything needed for a truly relaxing vacation. The place is huge and spacious. They have cleaner that clean the house every day. Host is easy to communicate and very responsive. Highly recommended

Merci à Marilou avec qui nous avons échangé: aux petits soins et très réactive. Petit souci avec l’eau chaude dans une des salles de bain mais sinon, logement spacieux et confortable dans un environnement calme. Coin piscine et petit jardin très agréables. Parfait pour des groupes.

Shay et un hôte très accueillant,souriant. Son logement était très beau, très spacieux avec une jolie piscine, une maison très bien sécurisé avec des stores métallique sur toute les fenêtres et baie vitrée. Un tarif super abordable pour ce grand logement. Shay est un hôte chaleureux il était même triste à notre départ. Vous ne pourrez qu'aimer le sejour dans son logement donc n'hésitez pas😊

Nous avons passé un super séjour à 13 adultes dans le logement de Didier. Il a été extrêmement arrangeant et accueillant. La maison est spacieuse, la piscine très agréable et les plages ne sont pas loin. Les 6 chambres sont agréables, lumineuses et climatisées. C est un hôte hyper bienveillant et réactif, je recommande vivement sa jolie villa.

Really great stay at Laurent’s place! He is really responsive and helpful with anything you might need. The apartment is very nice, clean and as described. Great location between two beaches. Definitely recommend!

Je recommande vivement notre hôte d’une grande flexibilité et d’une gentillesse tellement agréable. L’appartement est bien situé juste en face de la plage. La piscine est idéale avec les enfants. De plus vous avez un spa à côté et un restaurant que nous avons testés. Nous avons énormément apprécié !

Le logement est très agréable, propre, confortable et parfaitement équipé pour un séjour reposant. L’emplacement est idéal, calme et pratique. Thankyou Stephanie for a lovely relaxing 3 weeks in your apartment - it’s just up our street . We particularly enjoyed the peaceful setting , spacious balcony overlooking the pool, and having use of the kitchen to cook our own food from time to time . The washing machine also came in very handy during our stay . As we don’t always hire a car , we found the local buses very handy for places like Grand Baie in one direction and Trou aux Biches in the other ,and we found we could walk to the beautiful Mon Choisy beach in around 10 minutes . There are a handful of lovely restaurants and cafes within walking distance , including a great new Lebanese restaurant ( Kimbo) . We have been visiting Mauritius for many years , and we really feel at home in the lovely community of Pointe aux Canonniers . Thankyou Stephanie once again , and we really hope to see you soon . It is safe with security at the main gate 24/7. Lovely stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. It has everything you need. It is really nicr home away from home. Big thumbs up from my whole family.

Absolutly fantastic. We, a young family (baby of 11 months), stayed for a week. They were super accomodating! Helped where ever they could. Family atmosphere. Fully stocked kitchen with herbes, oil, jams,.. amazing garden and pool. They helped organise trips whenever we asked. The family babysat for us (we felt 100% at ease) and they did great! We visited two other airbnbs on Mauritius but this was our absolute favorite! Would very much recommend 😃

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison spacieuse, très bien équipée, avec une superbe piscine. L’endroit est calme et reposant, parfait pour se détendre. L’accueil de Valène a été chaleureux, et Shelby s’est montrée très réactive tout au long du séjour. Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation, allez-y les yeux fermés !

Het was een heel fijn verblijf. De communicatie verliep soepel en er werd altijd snel gereageerd. Het is een rustige omgeving, maar toch ben je dichtbij alles wat je nodig hebt en wil doen. Het verblijf is groot, netjes en schoon. De grill buiten is ook heel leuk. Een aanrader!

Wir sind sehr freundlich aufgenommen worden. Die Kommunikation war immer sehr nett und sie sind sehr hilfsbereit.Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und fußläufig zum schönen Strand von Bain Boeuf. Alles sehr gepflegt. Wir können es empfehlen.

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in Grande Gaube. Vic hat unsere Fragen im Vorfeld schnell und umfassend beantwortet. Vor Ort war Rumila unsere Ansprechpartnerin und hat sich bestens um uns gekümmert. Sie ist super erreichbar, sehr herzlich und hat viele Tipps parat (insbesondere hilfreich bei Stürmen & Co.). Die Lage war angenehm ruhig, trotzdem ist man fußläufig im kleinen Ort mit den wichtigsten Dingen für den Alltag. Alles andere lässt sich leicht mit dem Auto oder Taxi erreichen. Zwei kleine Punkte, die für uns nicht gepasst haben: Das Bett war ungewohnt hart und das Internet (insbesondere abends) sehr langsam. Letzteres ist ideal für Digital Detox, allerdings weniger für Remote Work. Ein echtes Highlight hingegen ist der private Pool, der nur für die zwei Wohneinheiten zugänglich ist. Ideal zum Entspannen! Die Wohnung selbst ist großzügig und ausreichend ausgestattet.

Great villa. Had a nice week there. A great place to chill and relax. In a quiet area with very little shops/restaurants so definitely worth having a car to explore further. We cooked at the apartment most days. Good access to a mall a few km down the road. Good security in the building and yard.

We were welcomed to the apartment by a wonderful host. He took care of us every day and was always at our service. We are very grateful for such an amazing stay.
