We have just returned to the UK after a 14 day vacation in the villa. We had a fantastic holiday the villa is beautiful inside and out. Perhaps our favourite area was the veranda. Its wraps around the villa and has many different seating areas. We spent most evenings out there. Garry is an amazing host he met us at the villa and showed us around also providing great information about Mauritius eating out beaches etc. He kindly allowed us to check out a little later. We ate out at Le Meridian and Revive several times they are local and within walking distance. Friendly staff and excellent food. La Voglia Matto Pizza eat in or takeaway is worth a visit. We spent 14 days in the house for two and enjoyed the stay very much. We liked the house itself, the huge great garden, the large pool, the location with a view of the sunset every evening, especially the warm contact with Andy and his family. They always responded immediately when we had questions, and everything was answered promptly and solutions were found. It should also be mentioned that the house is equipped with a mosquito net and can be ventilated at any time. The rental car will find a parking space directly in front of the house. There are both Euro plugs available except for the usual UK sockets, so adapters are not necessarily needed, but Andy would have had them for us. Besley, who takes care of the house, pool and garden, and lives next door, was also always helpful. So for us everything was great and we can highly recommend the house and thank everyone involved for the beautiful time in Mauritius.Andrea and Rudolf

Awesome stay at Baleau Villa, place has all listed amenities and is well located - Pereybere beach is 3 mins away with a great selection of restaurants around! We were offered homemade chicken curry with vegetables which was delicious ! Would definitely recommend! :))

A nice and big studio with a great terrace. Very quiet yet centrally located. The beach and restaurants can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, if you want to go to other beaches, a scooter or car is recommended. The landlords are very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms can be darkened with curtains. The bed is comfortable, the AC cools down, although it is also a little louder. Earplugs can help. Everything is divided as shown in the pictures: a bathroom, a kitchen with seating, a bedroom and a living room with sofa and dining table.

Great place- everything we were looking for!

We had a very pleasant stay at Belle Haven ! We took full use of the two of the three balconies for breakfast and dinner or just to relax. The penthouse was very nice with some stunning views on the sunset. The equipment and facilities were just as described. Parking is really easy on front of the building woth lots of free spaces. The communication was just exemplary and always on point. Thank you ! We will recommend this place or possibly come back.

The place is huge and spacious. They have cleaner that clean the house every day. Host is easy to communicate and very responsive. Highly recommended

I have been back home for two weeks, and I am still in awe of my experience; it was truly amazing. I woke up every morning to a beautiful view of the beach and the pool on the property. The food was fantastic, the people were wonderful, and Sally was outstanding. I left Mauritius with new friends, and I would definitely return and love to stay at Sally's place again. While Sally’s pictures are lovely, the place is even more impressive. I genuinely felt at home and at peace during my stay. It was bittersweet when it was time to go. We had an 8 PM flight, so we spent some time at the pool and then sat on the balcony until 4:30 PM when our ride arrived. If you are considering this destination, please do not hesitate. If you are looking for a place to stay, look no further!

We spent a great holiday in the ground floor Black reef apartment. The apartment is huge & well equipped. Kitchen includes all stuff you need to cook, from pots & pans to microwave & cooking machine. There is a huge fridge, coffee device and all tableware you need. The bedroom is nice and big, as well as bathroom that includes shower & bath tube. Everything is clean and very well preserved, exactly like in the photos. The terrace is opening to the sea and beach, that is very clean, too. There is a heated pool in the garden that is shared with tenants of the other two floors. The beach is nice but rocky, you can go into the water in front of the villa, but is better to use one of the very nice public beaches that are in walking distance. There is a supermarket where you can find almost everything & a very nice beach club (Le Plage) in 10 minutes walking distance and few restaurants closer. Communication was easy with both owner and local responsible person. Everything was perfect & top!

We had a great time in this apartment. The apartment was clean and spacious. In addition, it is a 1-minute walk to the beach, which is ideal. The advantage is also that we were able to enjoy the hotel's parking and swimming pool. :)

Perfect location, beautiful apartment with everything you need inside: a small balcony to enjoy the sun in the morning during breakfast, a seating area with two swings to relax when returning from visits, a fully equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. Not to mention the outside with its large swimming pool, its well-stocked weight room, the relaxation area, the barbecue area... everything is beautiful. Great hosts who best advise you on things to visit, very kind, respectful, attentive and attentive. I was able to share a grill and rum party with them and it was perfect. I recommend 1000% and will be back for sure! See you soon.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone! The sea is 2 minutes walking, as is the first restaurants. It was all very clean and as shown in the photos. We didn't miss anything because the host provided us with some information in advance. Very nice and accommodating host!

I had a fantastic stay of five nights, and it was absolutely worth it. Ashwin was incredibly helpful and proactive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The flat was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a seamless stay. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable experience.

The location is stunning and the accommodation extremely functional as well as comfortable so we spent much of our stay at the house and were able to relax totally. The place is within easy reach of restaurants, shops, beaches and other necessary amenities although it would have been limited without a hire car. Mathilde was great throughout, always there if we needed anything, extremely helpful but not at all intrusive. We had a late arrival and she facilitated a meal at the house and essential supplies for us which made the start of our holiday much easier than it could have been.

Stayed for 1 night, amazing place really clean and tidy, good location. The host Hugo is extremely friendly and helpful. Will recommend for anyone looking for a good clean place with really nice pool and view. 👍👌👌

Dawood is a great host. The apartment is very clean, functional. It is in a quiet and secure residence where you can park very easily. 5min walk from Pereybere beach and restaurants. Host arranging for check-in, check-out, cleaning hours. When I arrived one of the two A/C wasn't working. He told me tomorrow a technician will be coming. The next night I went home, the A/C was working. Dawood is serious, punctual, and speaking. I plan to return to Mauritius in December 2025, there is a good chance that I will book this accommodation again. I can only recommend it.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at Elodie’s apartment. She is a fantastic host and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. The apartment itself was very comfortable, and we felt completely at home. We would definitely choose to stay here again without hesitation. One thing to note, however, is that the area can be quite noisy, with fast cars, loud music, and people gathering nearby—it’s easy to hear everything from the apartment. Additionally, the beach in front of the apartment was often far too crowded for our taste. This could have been due to the holiday season, which may also explain the higher noise levels. That being said, this wasn’t a major issue for us, as there are plenty of other beautiful beaches nearby that are easily accessible by car. The location of the apartment is excellent, with lots to do in the surrounding area, including great restaurants, shopping options, and the lively Grand Baie market. All in all, we had a very wonderful stay :)

The villa was lovely, brilliant location right on the beach, clean and spacious. The kitchen was clean and had all we needed but could do with a bit of updating. Sophie and Bernard were great hosts and meet us on arrival and departure, very informative and was always available for any questions or in our case arranged a hire car, which is advisable as it is a bit of a walk to the main supermarket and restaurants, there are a few within walking distance(10 mins max) which were great. Christine the maid was absolutely superb, coming in every day to clean and change the bedding etc and even cooked us a meal on arrival, which was delicious. Overall we had a brilliant two weeks here and can thoroughly recommend this quaint Mauritian villa. Mauritius is truly a special place with lively people. Just a heads up to any thinking of flying air Mauritius, try to avoid they are terrible!
