The property was an 18th Century barn which the owners converted to an extremely spacious holiday cottage, with the best of traditional and modern features. It is ideally situated for fell walking, running, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding and other mountain and lake activities. Garden Flat, Ullswater: Fabulous views and reviews

Stunning views of Ullswater... Very special... Perfect... Well equipped... Spotless and clean... Fantastic host... No picture of our panoramic view can really do justice to The Garden Flat. But we hope those words from our most recent reviews do. The flat is in an elevated 19th century former hunting lodge. The Ullswater Way walking route is at the end of the drive. Down the hill is the Brackenrigg Inn, with its own microbrewery, and Another Place, with lake swimming and spa facilities.

Handy for Lake District, detached property

Easily reached from M6, 15 minutes drive to Keswick, Pooley Bridge and Ullswater. The Lodge is a detached recently converted building. Splendid views from large shared garden to Lakeland Fells. Perfect for a relaxing break, en-suite bedroom with king size bed and fully equipped kitchen and living area. Lovely pubs in nearby villages, closest is a 12 min walk. Surrounded by fields and the view of the fells, this is a place to slow down, but also to have adventure!
