Garple Loch Hut

Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. Discover the ultimate escape at Garple Loch Hut, set on your very own private loch with no one else around. Located on a peaceful sheep farm in Dumfries & Galloway, this hidden gem offers solitude, stunning scenery and unforgettable wildlife experiences. Wake up to the sight of sheep grazing and the gentle presence of your own Highland cows, which you can feed for a unique farm experience.

Shinnel House

This beautifully positioned house sits within its own extensive and well-maintained wildlife garden and provides spacious accommodation for up to 8 people. The peaceful garden with riverside strolls beside Shinnel Water is shared with the owner who lives in an adjacent cottage. Big windows make for bright rooms and look out onto large expanses of lawn, a pond and small river (both unfenced). NOTE – The garden is not enclosed and has an UNFENCED pond and river. Small children must be supervised.

The Steading Cottage

The Steading Cottage at Holmhill was once the stables and groom’s quarters to the elegant Georgian main house built by the Drumlanrig Castle Estate. It offers a cosy and beautifully appointed country retreat with breathtaking views over the beautiful Nith Valley and surrounding farmland, renown for its walks, wildlife and fishing. Multiple French Doors provide access to the patio and garden. The Cottage has ramped access. Visit Scotland awarded the Steading Cottage, Holmhill, a 4 star rating.

One Bed Beautifully Restored Listed Cosy Bothy

One Bed beautifully restored Bothy within a larger traditional barn. Sits in 1 acre of meadow. Perfect to explore all that Dumfries and Galloway has to offer. Located in Gatelawbridge, nestled within the southern upland hills yet just over a miles from independent shops, cafes, pubs and with amenities in the lovely ducal village of Thornhill. The Bothy has great original character, cosy, comfortable, well equipped with everything you need. It is welcoming with an emphasis on being immaculate.

Relax in the wood fired hot tub, sauna & plunge pool (extra fee applies). 10 mins from Loch Trool, mountain bike trails, wild swimming spots & hiking routes, guests are perfectly placed to explore this unspoilt region.

Appletree Cottage offers an entire open plan contemporary living space and outdoor patio area for 4 guests in the heart of the beautiful and vibrant village of Thornhill, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. Ideally located within a minutes walk of country pubs, cafes, gift shops and clothes boutiques. Perfectly situated only 10 minutes walk from stunning river and woodland walks and 5 minute drive to historical Drumlanrig Castle to enjoy walking, fishing, cycling/ mountain biking and bird watching

Stunning 3-Bed Rural Cottage

Prince’s Cottage is the old Shepard’s house and was originally made for the Prince Family. A 3 bedroom cottage that has been renovated and has the most amazing views. It is nestled just off the dead-end road that goes up the glen. It has its own little garden which is great for a dog to run around, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you need to make a feast after a day outside and when you are done you can sit by the log burner to play games at the end of the day.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

Charming chalet in peaceful rural location.

Our chalet is in our large, well managed garden. While it is near our house and we are happy to chat, we always respect peoples privacy. This is a very peaceful place where you can sit outside and watch the flames of the fire pit at night or stay in and have a cosy evening. Our neighbours are all of the four legged variety so some countryside noises are to be expected but the cows love to come and greet you at the wall. Parking space in garden
