Our "gite" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage in the most beautiful part of Salt Spring, the south eastern tip, near Ruckle Park. From our cottage, you can walk to this historic working farm and park, explore its forested trails, and then head to the many beach areas a short distance away. Visit farm stands and take the Studio Tour. Take a dip in one of many lakes. Climb Maxwell Mountain or stroll through the Saturday Market and other unique shops. Salt Spring is a true one of a kind.

This waterfront hillside cabin has an open concept floorplan with a sleeping loft for up to 5 and is a cozy place to relax and enjoy amazing panoramic water views and sunrises. This retreat features a new kitchen, a new bath with a spa-like shower, and beautiful hardwood flooring. Enjoy grilling and hot tubbing on the wrap-around deck, out door fire pit, and short walks to the private community beach.

Galiano Cabin Hideaway

The cabin has a double bed plus a twin size guest bed on the main floor, very comfortable accommodation for two or three guests. It also has a self contained second bedroom and bath on the ground floor with its own private entrance that is ideal for sharing with one or two guests. There is a $125 per night fee for this additional bed and bath. Please contact the host if you wish to book this second bed and bath.

The cottage is approximately 2km from Beaver Pt Hall, 5km from Ruckle Provincial Park, 10 minutes to Fulford Harbour, and 20 minutes to Ganges. We are within walking distance to several beach accesses, Canada Conservancy forest, and a beautiful First Nations Reserve. The beaches are launch points for nearby Russell and Portland Islands in the Gulf Island National Marine Parks.
