The cabin is a great place to escape from it all! The custom made cedar hot tub is hot and ready all winter. Cold, snowy nights make for excellent tub time!! Inside the cabin is warm and has the comfort of home. Want to ski? Two ski resorts are 30 minutes from us.
“It was like no other place we’ve stayed. There were touches of simple beauty, and the craftsmanship was something to be admired. It was like being in an art gallery and noticing things after being in the room that only time allows. Well appointed-nice soaps and things, nice smell to the linens, loved the wooden swing, waffles were yummy, hot tub helped our sore legs after hiking Mt. Cabot, and the tussle of trees everywhere was soothing. Great visit. Hosts really design it so that you feel treated. Wonderful visit!”
Beer, cheese, long walks in the woods, skiing & Mountain Vistas from the latrine! Our little converted milking parlor is close to all the rural essentials. Set on bucolic backroads, looking out towards Stowe, this little milkhouse is a funky slice of Vermont paradise. *Please see the “rules” section if you plan on bringing dogs :)
“We loved our stay at E.V.’s place! The house is absolutely charming both inside and outside and true to the listing. The backyard has great views of the fields. We enjoyed many afternoons/evenings playing croquet or just hanging out in the backyard. We also loved all the little touches, such as newly picked flowers in every room, super soft bedding and samples of local Vermont products. The house is conveniently located close to hiking trails, streams, Elmore lake and Stowe and Morrisville. We traveled with infants and E.V. went above and beyond and provided 2 pack n’ plays for our stay. She was always quick to respond to our messages. We highly recommend her place!”
This log cabin is set in the woods in a rural part of northeastern Vermont. Escape the hustle and bustle, clear your mind, and enjoy nature. A great place to get some fresh air or to stay in and take a nap. Beautiful summers for easy hikes and refreshing swims in the lakes of our local Groton State Forest, unbelievable foliage to view from small dirt roads, and tons of outdoor winter activities. Great for a couples getaway, friends weekend, or some quality time with the kids. Pets welcome, too!
“The cabin is exactly as advertised in the most perfectly peaceful and restful way. The home is quaint but deceptively spacious and accommodating of anything you might need. They had all the necessities for a great fire, games and puzzles, and beautiful setups for reading with a wonderful view. Plus the water pressure in the shower couldn’t be better after humid buggy summer days! Speaking of, we didn’t need any fans as the cabin caught a perfect breeze with all of the screened windows open. Truly a wonderful summer escape from the city to unplug and recharge. Would highly recommend!”
