Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Paynesville

Spectacular! This place was even better than the pictures, reviews and description. It suited our family perfectly with plenty of space, yet great areas where we could come together as well. The wildlife was amazing and I could have sat out on the daybed the whole stay just watching nature! The kids had plenty to do and were able to get their short fix of screens in their down time. We can not recommend Andrew and Hilary's place highly enough, it was just perfect for us in every way! I really hope we can get back there one day! Mel and Mark (Qld)

Nice place. Slightly tricky to get into the drive way. Beautiful kitchen with all amenities. Relaxing lounge. Short walk to to restaurant and shops.

We loved our stay at John’s place in Paynesville. The property is all you could want or need . It’s spacious , with a lovely view and it has all the ammenities. Fabulous shower , comfy couch , both appreciated after a long days fishing and exploring. John is a gracious host . He’s very communicative and happy to assist if needed . The welcome bottle of wine and chocolates a lovely touch . A and J

Great place to stay for a break. 2 minute walk and you are on one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. lots of walking tracks and very close to the General Store and Surf Club. the Surf Club has an awesome range of food. The kitchen and family room area was a great spot to hang out to watch the footy with the family and our dog. I would highly recommend staying at Seaspray.

Thank you Mel for letting us stay. Metung is a very beautiful part of the world! House was cozy and clean. All the things we needed. Being able to see the sunrise was wonderful.

We discovered a new dream location at Lake Tyers Beach. A perfect spot to walk the dogs and the walk to red bluff is beautiful and not too challenging. The general store just down the road has great coffee and the food at the Tavern was delicious. Sarah was friendly and communicative and the house was so charming and comfortable. We particularly loved the outdoor bath and little alfresco bbq area with fairy lights. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was so dark we reset our circadian rhythms! Shout out also to the locals who were really friendly with a steady stream of “g’day” as we meandered through their little town. We’ll be back!

A beautiful setting amidst native forest and a landscaped garden. Lovely house with plenty of open spaces inside and out. It wasn't cold enough to use the firepit or the indoor fireplace but those will add to the the ambience of this place in the winter. spotlessly clean and very comfortable. This place will not disappoint!

The place was calm and relaxing. It had a good location and was clean and organized. The host was very helpful and thoughtful. We will definitely come back.

Lynn was a gracious and helpful host who truly loves this property, which has been in her family for generations. She takes loving care of the place, and it shows. Words and pictures cannot adequately describe the magic of this place. The house is built to accentuate the beauty of the land, and the land is beautiful. We had parrots and cockatoos and ducks and bunnies on the property, with friendly cows at the bottom of the yard hill and kangaroos just down the road. The yard and garden were so beautiful we did not want to leave. The rooms were all comfortable and luxurious. We spent a wonderful Christmas here with our family and would definitely come back. Thanks Lynn for making our Christmas special!

Our stay at Acacia lodge was very relaxing and comfortable. The weather wasn’t quite suited to sitting out on the several balconies but we hope to experience that when we next visit. Great amenities and being able to cross the road and amble along the boardwalk into town was just delightful. We would highly recommend visiting both Metung and staying at Acacia Lodge.

We had a lovely stay, comfortable and clean villa with great facilities for the kids. We enjoyed the daily walk into town for coffee, a quick wander across the road to throw a line in and 5 min drive to Metung Hot Springs. Overall we had a fabulous time in Metung and will be back. Thank you for having us!
