Pros: The location was awesome Peaceful Property was clean The host kartikey was amazing Good communication and collaboration Food was amazing Hosting top level Wifi was good Cons: For Elderly people especially having joint or leg problem - I wont recommend this property since the path/route to the property is quite tricky. The property is 200 m downhill from the main road parking area. Overall , we had a wonderful stay( top notch view) and the Host Kartikey was amazing and made sure we don’t face any challenges. The stay was awesome for us. The place is very neat and clean. The host is very friendly and her parents staying downstairs take care of each and every need for us. Uber/Ola rides are accessible within a minute , Blinkit is also easily available, convenient stores are nearby. Finally we enjoyed our stay, Home away from Home!!

I stayed at Rahul's place with mother and sister on a weekend trip to Haridwar. We had a lovely time, the location is great the host is very kind and responsive. I highly recommend staying here.

This cottage is very charming and warm. The architecture of the home is very interesting. The upstairs room feels like a tree house with a peaked ceiling and the downstairs opens up to the outdoors. Everything is there to enjoy a long term stay and the location is peaceful while being very close to all the activity of Rajpur Rd. The garden is lovely and attracts the most beautiful hummingbirds and butterflies. Easy to use swiggy and blinkit from this location. I highly recommend 🪷🙏🏽

I believe this decision was the best choice for my booking in Rishikesh. The location is perfect and looks exactly like the photos shown in the listing. This Airbnb is ideal for those who appreciate aesthetics and is also very couple-friendly. One of the highlights of the home is the balcony area. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Shashi’s place! The property is nestled in a serene, peaceful locality with zero noise disturbances — a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. What made the stay even more special was the stunning location. The home is set right in front of a beautiful river, with a lush forest just across from it. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying a morning coffee with that view was truly magical. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. We had a good and warm stay that genuinely felt homely. It’s a great option for travelers, especially with the availability of home-cooked food and efficient chai, coffee services. Essential amenities like laundry, Wi-Fi & AC were all up to the mark, ensuring comfort. The overall cleanliness and positive vibe were noticeable. We appreciated Ranjana ji’s helpfulness (various small enquiries) which made things much easier. This place also works well for a staycation, as it provides all necessary amenities. The property offers a serene retreat with breathtaking views, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. That said, access can be a bit tricky without your own vehicle, as it involves climbing a fair number of steep stairs and there are limited auto or cab options nearby and definitely challenging for someone with kids/aged family members. Still, it’s a wonderful place to stay, and the complimentary Ganga Aarti experience adds a special touch. A big shoutout to Ansh—he was incredibly helpful when my car broke down. He accommodated a late check-in and check-out without hesitation and even provided taxi details for the rest of my trip.

Spotlessly clean and wonderfully homely right in the heart of Dehradun! The location couldn't be better for exploring. The staff is incredibly helpful and always polite, making my stay truly comfortable. Highly recommended!

Very good place near to an auto stand we can go anywhere in Rishikesh. It's better this way otherwise parking charges are very high in Rishikesh while auto will only charge 10 to 20 rupees. Place have a functioning lift and zomato Swiggy blinkit are available, just across the road you can walk beside ganga and they have a bathing ghat as well. overall one of the best location to stay in Rishikesh

had a wonderful stay at this home stay every think went smooth and priya for very reponsive and cooperated a lot with addon guest and what ever we asked for.

The location and view are excellent. The apartment itself is beautifully done up, interiors are in a Bohemian style and very soothing. Reena ji was super helpful in coordinating everything. Our only gripe was that, the apartment infrastructure is not that well-maintained. For eg., in one of the bathrooms the shower was not working, which got fixed later on. Then that bathroom's sink had a drainage issue. On our last evening, the kitchen sink's drainage pipe disconnected, and water leaked all over the floor. Reena ji was again helpful, sending people to fix it - but we couldn't use the sink that evening. But as nothing is perfect, these minor grievances aside, stay was excellent, very calm with the magnificent views of the pristine Ganges from our balcony. That last part, for us, overrode everything else, which is why I still am rating it 5 stars! PS: Note that if you don't have your own transport, you are dependent on the local autos, which you have to call and book in advance.

We were travelling with our pet and needed a less crowds-y, home-like and spacious place to stay and Arun’s place was just that. It’s a 10 min drive to Triveni Ghat and situated away from the hustle bustle. Arun and the caretaker, Mahesh, were super responsive and the place was just like how the listing shows (I’d say even better!). Would 10/10 recommend! Lovely stay 😊

a lazy staycation, family vacation, long weekends, whatever be the scenario. IKAI is a perfect getaway. Away from the hustle and bustle of prime time rishikesh, yet close enough by personal vehicles . very helpful staff and quite calm residence.

The place is overall really good. All the facilities matched the discription given on the Airbnb app. The only thing which could be slightly not good was the location of the place which is slightly away from the city.
