Where do we start! Thierry’s communication from booking was excellent. When we arrived Thierry met us with enthusiasm and showed us around our part of his castle! The castle, built in the 1500’s, has been lovingly restored and has all the mod cons needed! He is a very proud owner and has so much knowledge! His english put our French to shame as he has mastered it well! Thierry spent time with us when we arrived explaining the village and things to do in the area and would message with suggestions he thought we may be interested in (market at Carmaux etc) which was very helpful! When it was 34deg outside the castle was a much needed cool retreat! I can’t fault the accommodation, the area or the owner at all! Don’t hesitate to book Thierry’s part of history -you won’t regret it. Thierry, thank you for your hospitality and if we are ever in the area we will not hesitate to book with you again!

This former sheepfold has been tastefully renovated and everything comes together to have fun, whether around the stove, the barbecue, etc. We were delighted by the wooded garden and its surrounding walks recommended by our very welcoming and caring hosts. We had a pleasant stay with the family in a clean accommodation, with all the amenities. Quiet moments around the wood-burning stove, fun games around foosball and mealtime on the veranda that offers a beautiful view. Many walks from the accommodation are possible, a real plus to satisfy young and old. We recommend this listing and these very welcoming hosts.

We enjoyed our stay at Masnau very much. We were 2 families and were able to enjoy comfortably. The cottage is spacious, newly renovated with care. The garden is wooded and very tranquil. Games are available. A true haven of peace in the countryside. Isa and her parents are very responsive and accommodating. The Alban Mountains region was a much-loved discovery by all of us. We would recommend 100%!

This is what we call hospitality! Everything was perfect. Olivier is a really great host. He takes care of his guests and even offers us, once the booking is made, a whole list of great activities, especially in connection with wine. We just had to click and it took care of making the reservations! It's a really great experience! Thank you very much Olivier. Thank you also for your visit to the premises and these moments of exchange on Gaillac. It was really rewarding!
