This Airbnb is even more cozy and picturesque than the pictures in the listing. Bruce was so responsive from the start, and also connected us with his friend who shuttled our group from the lake for Antigua. There’s also a cool lighthouse in the Yacht club that you can walk down to and take private boats from. The only drawback was the location. San Lucas Toliman is less popular for tourists. To get to San Juan or Pedro you have to first take a boat to Panajachel, unless you pay extra for private boats. You’ll also want to start your days early and head back home by 3pm at the latest; the winds pick up and can make the water really choppy.

Walter was an amazing host! Very friendly and proactive with good recommendations from the area. The room was very organized and beautiful with incredible attention to detail and quality service. I recommend it 100%.

If you are looking for a place to have a getaway, I highly recommend this place. It's slightly out of the hustle and bustle busy areas, and still has a view that is beyond what words can describe. The location is easy to find, easy access from the parking lot, and has all the amenities you need to make food, and enjoy your stay. The decor, and set up is absolutely stunning.

We loved our stay! The hosts are very communicative and helpful. Check in instructions were clear and communicated well beforehand, and if any issues came up they were sorted immediately (we ran out of gas for the stove at one point, and it was fixed and replaced within 15 minutes!). The gardener was super nice and checked in on us regularly. The views are incredible and the house is comfortable. The wifi was strong and consistent for remote work. Definitely bring things from the supermarket prior to arrival so you don't have to boat back and forth. It's an eco house, so yes there are bugs, but nothing scary or that really impacted our experience. It's a really great spot if you're looking to escape!
