Holiday houses in Pathio District

Mogens and Nam are very welcoming, helpful and hospitable hosts. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated and the bed is big and very comfortable. The office area in the bedroom was great for working online and the veranda was a lovely space to relax. We felt truly relaxed at Namog House - located in such a chilled and beautiful part of the country. Having free access to the bikes was such a bonus as it allowed us to fully explore the local area. Thank you so much for a lovely stay Mogens and Nam, we will be back!

Very nice designed complex, located next to a river and only 5 mins to local market by feet.

An amazing place for those who love peace and tranquility. This is not a wild place alone with nature, but there are almost no people. Don't look for luxury beaches. they are not here. But the unit has everything for a comfortable life: a full set of dishes and household appliances, a TV and the Internet, as well as very comfortable hard mattresses, which Thailand generally pleased and surprised me with. Another positive aspect is that there is a train station nearby, from where you can get to anywhere in the country. but still the main advantage of living in this place is the people. The host family met me at the station and treated me like family. we were constantly in touch, went together to the market, to the store, and for a small fee - to the regional center of Chumphon. These are very decent, honest, friendly and sympathetic people! Thanks to them for the warm welcome!

Pretty house, well maintained in a green paradise setting and surrounded by birdsong, thanks to Alex our ( neighbor) for his hospitality and advice on places to frequent. Small downside! You have to rectify the listing about the pool, which is located outside the subdivision, in an enclosure that is very poorly maintained and very aging!! And in addition access and paying 100 baht per day per person!?

Nong and Tom’s place is as special, as they are! It is right on the beach, surrounded by a lot of coconut trees plus other tropical trees. The water was clear and refreshing. I usually felt a cool breeze in the evening. The moon and stars were bright. The air is fresh, away from large cities and towns, yet close to the next village with a fair sized morning market. You have to go to Chumphon, the larger city about 20 minutes drive, for souvenirs and more diverse food. The one room bungalow is very basic with the bathroom a step down into a separate room. You hear geckos all over, which makes it fun if you like nature. The sound of cicadas in the trees was especially pleasant for me. Snorkeling is great there because the area is not touristy, so the coral is not very disturbed, which allowed the diversity of fish, plants, and biological organism species to be greater. Nong was so helpful, setting us up with directions to mosque, markets, and arranging car rental and van back to Phuket.

Stunning house and even more stunning beach. Just remember you’re in the middle of no where and need transport to get to shops or restaurants. Location makes up for that.

This is one of the best villa i have been in Thailand. It is very privacy and relaxing. I dont feel like going anywhere only staying home. You can find everything you need. Fresh market right across the road. 3 mini marts just in front and so many local shop and local restaurants. The place is exact like in photos. The beach is right in front of you with a large space for lots of activities. Big living room with plenty of space and big kitchen with all equipments. I will definitely go back there with my family but this time 3 nights are not enough. Thank you Vorasak for being such a great host. Chatchada

We stayed here for 6 nights at Chiara's place. We enjoyed it very much. We felt very comfortable. We explored chumphon by scooter and we will definitely come back. You can drive to the sea by scooter for about 3 minutes. Chiara and her husband were very friendly hosts. The small kitchen has everything you need to cook something fast. And the beds were very comfortable. The curtains have also darkened well.

This is genuinely a good airbnb. The finishes are top notch, and the building quality is of a high "western" standard. Zero slopiness there. The layout of the airbnb is done pretty nicely, in our case we had three parties staying there, and we did have a fair bit of privacy whilst enjoying each others company. It does come with a washing machine and a dryer, so you can easily clean your wardrobe. For future reference, I think a small music box would enhance the airbnb. Since the airbnb is surrounded by nature, on a few evenings we had a few mosquitos, but nothing bad or horrific. The location is a 15-minute walk to the beach, or rent scooters (300 Baht/day from the Airbnb, 250 Baht/day locally) for more convenience(!) The transportation options through the Airbnb are expensive (there are cheaper options from competitors within same category), and the host can be a tad slow to respond. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay, and I’d return. Chumphon is less touristy but beautiful.
